Well, yeah, traps or veil is more or less a personal preference. As for tombs, since I usually run them with a tank, I find two rogues alternating veils more useful than having traps. The absence of annoying ranged mobs, who tend to scatter around the screen, also diminishes the usefulness of traps.

Plus, veil has saved me numerous times vs bosses there. Like, you know, a bomb falls on you while standing inside a veil, and you end up at 2% health. Without veil you're dead. :)

All depends on how you play xD. I find myself better using only trap, tried to use veil on my build again but i didn't liked it lol,can't move a lot. So now im using just trap.

How about using both like I do? Finally now with the correct damage, crit, and health numbers being displayed you can see how much of difference veil makes... it really is almost night and day. Also I completely agree about traps. In addition to giving additional pull and control of mobs to rogues traps do serious damage!

I'd be glad to do a more detailed comparison on difference veil makes... in fact it's probably necessary because more and more I've been seeing rogues not use veil which I think is actually a detriment to the entire party... I'm not saying you have to have it but I'm guessing during new cap if the mobs are considerably harder it's going to make all of the difference in party survival. Just a thought.

I've noticed when we do huge pulls on tind maps other than first map that veil is like turning a light switch on and off... it really is that obvious to me on the damage and increased health.

I haven't been on as much these past few weeks due to working two jobs and not having enough time to play as much as I used to, but I did want to take a moment to let Fade, Candy, and all of our guildies know that I am beyond proud of how Enigmatic has sky rocketed into the #1 Elite PVE guild of Arlor and AL.

Thanks to everyone's efforts during the Overachievers guild contest, and Kali's Tour of Arlor contest, we were the number one guild in participation (Tear*) which has pushed us from 0 to #5 on the guild leaderboard. That is something I never would have thought possible, but we've started from bottom, now we're here. So let's all continue to keep our standing~

I'm in high school and play the flute, but I'm not the best.
Our final exam for first semester also doubled as an aduition for the 2nd semester bands - the 2 top wind ensembles, two jazz groups, and one symphonic band.

I didn't make any of them.

I did great on the scales of course, and ok on the exerpt, but sight reading? Horrible. I havn't really gotten the tactic of looking ahead yet. For me, jazz sounds great, but is hard to actually play - can't really articulate properly and have no improv skills whatsoever.

Nonetheless, I do keep at it diligently. I'm not trying to be the best, rather just enjoying playing and creating music daily.

Crit is a sugestion. u can always get mana back on those packs.

About VB, it is tricky, i personaly like it for PVP but im full geared. A warr with 2k or less armor without Jugg will die quickly against a rogue.
Lets remember that on our skill system armor passive is a buff. So if u get shot by an aimed u will lose those 5% plus the 15% armor of the skill which means that a 2k armor will be reduced to 1.6k making you an easy prey.
Again, I like VB and used when i was into PVP, but my stats allowed me to dismiss Jugg. U can always try it out :)

Contest changes:

First, I see that you have stopped running the contest. This saddens me because we really didn't want to give the singe egg to someone who only made a grand effort the first weekend. However, I realize that some changes need to happen to perk your interest once again so here they are:

1. Hide and Seek is up starting late tonight and into tomorrow. It is 18 places and you have to submit a SS of your toon in the exact same spot. For anyone who gets all 18 correct we will give a 100 point bonus as we did in trivia.

2. Points in the weekend for tombs and arena are increased. Planar tombs 1,2,3 will now be 5 points each. Arena will be 3 points. Also, the top runner in each class will receive a bonus of 250 points this weekend.

3. The Bulwark will go to the person who accumulated the most warrior points in all areas including PvE kills, Tind, and Tombs/Arena. So if you want the Bulwark then I suggest that you run it for Tombs and Area. I will not be combining all of your alts points for Bulwark but simply looking at the points earned on each warrior and awarding it that way. I don't mind adding the points together for the other prizes, but for the Bulwark that is for the best effort made with a warrior during the entire length of the contest.

Actually I just like participating, even knowing there is absolutely no way I can spend the amount of time to get anywhere near the leaders.

For the elite Tindirin phase, however, two things:

1. I thought it was over yesterday (24 hours), so when I could not log on that morning, I did not do anymore runs.

2. Unfortunately RL intruded and will likely be intruding through this weekend. I will probably participate just cause I'm crazy that way, but I have no clue how much I can do.

Hey <Enigmatic>

The Trials of Singe are over, I will be working today on the points and the prizes and will post them up when it's all complete. Thank you to everyone who participated and thank you to everyone who helped the leaders to run and accumulate points. A few of you have voiced concerns about forming parties to run during the PvE portion of the contest. Your concerns are valid and I want to thank those of you who have spoken to me individually and know that the officers are going to address this issue within the guild. We want to have a family here that will lend a hand and not let anyone be left hanging for too long if they want to run maps!

With that said, please take a look at what you are doing in the game. Are you a veteran of <Enigmatic>? If everyone at the minimum does their tombs dailies and 5 arena runs that will help a lot. Be cognizant of the guild chat and reach out to the people who need runs. With our tightened guild requirements there isn't anyone here not capable of running maps well. Continue to forge new friendships within the guild and welcome our new members by running with them often. It saddened me deeply to see people in that last contest who wanted to run simply could not get parties when there were tons of guildies online. Let's learn from this as a team.

The other thing and this is probably the worst part, we are stuck in a huge dry patch from StS. Neither Fade or I can fix this, and if we could we would. It's been the longest stretch from expansions ever in the history of the game and the PvE community across all guilds is going to suffer from it. A lot of us in the guild are simply bored. We just don't have the desire to run like we did 6 months ago. This is where you guys can help us. We will continue to run contests and host social events in the guild to keep us busy and having fun. If you have any ideas for the next contest then please PM them to me and we will try and take the best ideas and use them to host the next contest.

For the people having trouble finding groups, you can also try to send tells (no spamming) to friends or guild members who are in areas you want to run. Just something polite, like "Do you have room for a <class> in your group?" Of course, do not spam Party Invites. Lots of times, the parties will be full, so ask more people.

I've actually just gone down the list and sent tells until I found people who are online. Sometimes they are busy but at least they start getting to know you. It's a resource to be aware of. If I am alone, I tell them that and sometimes they find other people to run with.

If you see me in game, you can definitely send a PM to ask if I want to run anything. Recently I've been doing arena, mostly because it's quick games. I only have time to do intense runs once or twice a week, but if I am free, I will say so. The next few weeks appear pretty busy for me though.

The other thing to do is solo, especially the lower elites. There are still some things left to farm. Do this while waiting for spots to open up or for people to become free.

I try to keep an eye on guild chat for people hunting for parties, but due to the large influx so many new members recently I don't always respond out of unfamiliarity of the player and their ability to run elites. The folks I tend to join are usually solid members who have stamped their identities in my mind as capable runners who have tomb pulls and elite maps committed to memory, and can run arena with the least amount of casualties as possible.

I can run with anyone too. I don't mind running with legendary players as long as they know what to do or are willing to learn. I may not be the best, but I'm doing fine. And if I - a legendary player until a few months ago - can do fine, everyone can. ;)

I run almost exclusively Tombs and Arena nowadays. I find all other elites a waste of time, including Tindirin (although Tombs are going there too, unfortunately). So, if you want to run Tombs or Arena and you see me online, you can pm me. If I'm not afk, I'll reply. If I don't reply and I'm in guild hall, this means I'm usually afk. That's it. :)

Dear 'Fade',

Well it's been over a year since we started our journey in AL together. Remember when we first started talking in the chat box, and I had my scamming issue? You were so kind to me despite all of the harassment and negativity, and you were the reason that I didn't quit back then. Somehow you ended up recruiting me to TC and we started chatting on line in PM more and more. Turns out the two of us are a great team and I will never forget when I rage quit TC and without question you did the same. Us standing in camp without a guild and a few days later we formed <Enigmatic> because deep down we knew that we could make something special together. You are bright, compassionate, and your integrity in this game never waivers despite all of the ups and downs you stayed true to making our non-merge guild and it has turned out to be something amazing.

We share core values of family, respecting differences in people, and trying to make each day positive and fun. Our guild is the embodiment of our vision together and I am so proud of you today on your birthday. I will forever be your right hand (well in our case left, lol) in this guild until the game is done. All of the money and time we have spent here with StS I never regret because it allowed me to meet you. Few things:

1. If you merch in guild chat to sell at a discount that's fine. You know be courteous and don't spam. However, if you buy an item that you get at discount it should be for your personal use not to turn around and resell the same item in guild chat. I can't believe we had that going on last night and I am sorry to whoever was involved. The person has been removed from the guild. If that happens again, we will continue to remove said person from the guild.

2. PvP. We have a good number of people going at it in PvP and that is fine we love you in <Enigmatic>. We don't have alliances and yes you are allowed to join the other side and kill your guildie. However, if we find out that you are a schmuck in PvP and are ganging each other or talking bad in there we will remove you.

3. Let's work on some APs over the weekend. If you need elite egg crack, Trulle, any of the elusives, old elite maps please let an officer know. We have no problem getting these done and we would like you to complete them. Most of us should be over 16K AP if you decide to do the pet ones.

4. Diggdugg is doing a great job with recruiting. Recruiting is open! Please other recruiters lend him a hand he's totally swamped with people PM him to join, and I know it's hard for him to run every single one of them through a test run. I will also say this, he talks to the people as well. He asks things like, what previous guild were you in. Why do you want to join Enigmatic. Things like that. Will give you as recruiters a good idea if these people will fit into our family.
