I'm farming Jarl. Got about 30 or 35 red eggs so far. Sold half, opened half. No luck getting recipe, just hauntlet coins, story tokens and teeth. :)

Lepre rerolls blue to red, but you can get reds from Jarl without reroll too. Good luck. :)

And be sure to stay away from sorrax (mage) the whole time, his curse one hits and the DoT is almost equivalent to 800-900. I forgot what it corresponds to. It will still apply DoT even if your not attacking, if you attack...you'd be hit with a X > 1,600 DoT effect which is MASSIVE!

What is it like to be <Enigmatic> in Arlor? Well, we aren't too serious or run the guild with a heavy hand. We try and keep our rules to a minimum and encourage everyone to do what makes them happy in the game. For some that is PvP, others like to collect and acquire items and vanity, many of us are social players and hang in Camp just talking about our days. The one thing we have in common is we are mainly a PvE guild and we like to farm!!! We recently made an appearance in the top 5 on the leaderboards, and that was a blessing for sure! However, we don't stress over it and push people to maintain numbers or APs but rather let the numbers fall as they may each week. Sometimes we have a bunch of people joining and other days we have a few people leaving the guild. One of the most important things that our Guild Master has taught us is that loyalty is important. The core members have been in the guild for a long time and we are really close. If you choose to become <Enigmatic> we will treat you like family once we get a chance to know you.

We do fun social events, especially now because the game is in a lull. Recently we had a birthday party for one of our officers, Visiting! (http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?219702-2-Happy-B-Day-Ralchior-Visiting!) This came with feel good vibes and we all talked about how we got to know him in the game and his contributions to this guild as a founding officer. Our guild is filled with talented students, adults, moms, dads, even husbands and wives that come together and share a common bond. Everyone in our guild is approachable and if you see anyone with an <Enigmatic> tag no matter how veteran they are, we are always willing to lend a hand or ear to anyone in this game. We are humble and love this place we call Arlor.

Another common bond of our members is our forum activity. Many of us are here posting and contributing back to the community and developers on the forum. We encourage our guild to be in the know by making forum accounts and reading the forums often. We also have a LINE group that isn't required, but is another way for us to hang out and socialize when we can't be in the game. Our line group is open to all members, regardless of age, and we keep it PG13 unless Zylx is getting wild you never know. (; Leambow is working hard for our guild and creating neat signatures, and will make one for anyone that becomes Enigmatic.

In addition to social events, we hold PvE events as well. Our most recent one was 'The Quest for Singe' and we gave away a singe egg. We have a lot of these contests and have awarded planar amulet recipe, mythic weapons and armor, gold, and all sorts of legendary eggs. Our guild master is generous and likes to give back to the members as much as possible through these events. We also participated in the 'Tour of Arlor' and our guild won first place which we are forever proud of. We have a few members that like to work on the timed runs as well, our officer Eat/Calicus is our go to for these runs.

We are friends with all of the other guilds in Arlor and respect everyone here in this game who is positive and helpful. We don't poach or try and get people to jump guilds, but rather stay open to anyone who asks to join <Enigmatic>. Recently we did tighten up our recruiting requirements, but if you are someone that doesn't meet them now please ask us for help in how to maximize your build and gear. Our head recruiter 'Diggdugg' is active and able to assist any potential members in Arlor.

But please understand that we need to have other recruiters/officers online so that we can take you to a test run. If there aren't ones online, just contact us again later.

And please be sure to meet the stat requirements listed on the first page of this thread. No point showing up with 2.8k hp and 480 damage and arguing about how someone else joined guild with such stats. Sad reality in Arcane Legends right now is that there are rogues and mages with ~5k health and 700-800 damage and most of them won't run with you, no matter how skilled you are. I don't like it, but that's the reality. So instead of arguing with me or fellow guildmates, just invest some gold and prepare yourself.

I haven't logged on much these past few days because AL has all but come to stand still for me.

The market sucks. Elites are a tiresome grind for Breeze eggs that go for 700-800k, Arena is not a realistic farming map (even if you have gold to fund runs), and if you're not popping crates or buying plat in some fashion there's really nothing for you to do to get ahead. End of season is really starting to show, and those pet crates aren't really helping to keep my attention for weekend updates. So for the time being, I'm just gonna watch the forums and check in here and there everyday for a little bit until the next event or the expansion hits.

It's just too boring and unprofitable to play atm, sorry guys. Hope things pick up quick soon.

I would like to begin doing an Enigmatician of the week for the guild. This person will be featured on page one of our guild thread and will be rewarded with a small prize from Fade and I. We will rotate and do the first week by recognizing an officer, then move onto a recruiter, then the next week a member, and keep going until we get bored of it. I will post up some details and rules on how the person will be selected, but I think I would like to have the person nominated by the guild each week. Does this sound like something fun for us to do?

Also, I am hesitant to hold a large event because I feel we are burned out, but if you guys are wanting to participate in one I really need some feedback yes or no on it. It's a lot of work to do, which I don't mind but it's up to you guys.

I would like to begin doing an Enigmatician of the week for the guild. This person will be featured on page one of our guild thread and will be rewarded with a small prize from Fade and I. We will rotate and do the first week by recognizing an officer, then move onto a recruiter, then the next week a member, and keep going until we get bored of it. I will post up some details and rules on how the person will be selected, but I think I would like to have the person nominated by the guild each week. Does this sound like something fun for us to do?

Also, I am hesitant to hold a large event because I feel we are burned out, but if you guys are wanting to participate in one I really need some feedback yes or no on it. It's a lot of work to do, which I don't mind but it's up to you guys.

Please come prepared with Ankh and Potions for your test run. Yes we are on the leader board but I will say this regarding it. We DO NOT CARE our LB status. We firmly believe in quality > quantity and we will remain a family-style guild with tight knit group of skilled players who are in Arlor for fun. Enigmatic has been a non-merge guild and we are coming up on our one year anniversary, and plan to go strong in the expansion. Our focus is PvE and farming.

Also, we do not like guild hoppers. If you are known for this and have already been in Enigmatic, you have a one time pass back. After that we won't invite you. If you have a history of scamming, a nasty PvP rep, or are a contentious poster on the forums this isn't the place for you. Littletipsy/Littetipsy/Littlesleepy is a rockstar officer and you can find him in PvP and Elite maps on his mage, warrior, and rogue caps. I chose this guild because I like to farm and I like the ppl in this guild

My favorite map in arlor is KM3 is because it's bring back a lot of great memory when I was a nub that's all I do everyday is farming locked met a lot of great friends in that map.

3. What advice would you give a new player in this game?
Go hard or go home :) always give a 100% effort when running in party don't rage quit even if it was a bad run.

Have you checked out sacred elondrian ring and wild talisman of will pendant. Also checkout ancient druid of bark armour. I wouldn't really invest in mythic armour for warrior right now and It's expensive.

There's a reason for each of the rules and we've seen this end up being nothing but bad in the past. Granted there are some special cases but generally it's not a good idea.

1. Why did you choose to become Enigmatic?
I happened to meet Ermagawsh/Pyrogenie during the first Gauntlet event and he was SOOO OP compared to me but he was also so humble and nice. That's not a combination you usually come across IG. He brought in a few more members of Enigmatic like Kewlchix and Dreebacid to help on the runs and I knew then that this is where I wanted to be. I have never met a group of such down to earth AL players in my time in Arlor.

2. What is your favorite map in Arlor and why?
As crazy as it sounds, WT4 is my favorite place in Arlor because it's where I met so many wonderful people in the game that I am blessed to call friends.

3. If you could give advice to a new person in this game what would it be?
Don't play for the gold, the gear, the pets, play because you enjoy the game and the friendships you make!

I'm from Amber, OK in the United States. It's a super small cow town lol.

Dear Enigmatic,

We have had a lot of turnover and I see a few things going on.

1. Some of you are bored and have jumped to a PvP or what you perceive as the 'next cool guild'
2. You are playing Taichi Panda
3. You aren't logging in because there is no longer any viable PvE farming

I do not blame anyone or have hard feelings. However, let me say this. Loyalty is important. If you can't weather the tough times as a guild you aren't Enigmatic to begin. This is what we are thinking of, and now is the time to make suggestions! I see that the Goblin event will be hitting us soon so we are thinking of running a contest at the same time. Here is how it will work:

We will random off a Maridos egg by the following rules based on your runs in the Goblin event:

You get your name in the drawing 1x for each guilded toon that reaches Plat tier
You get your name in the drawing 2x for being in the top 50 LB for your class
You get your name in the drawing 3X for being in the top 25 LB for your class
You get your name in the drawing 5x for being in the top 10 LB for your class

I will use a random generator and can video it so you see it's fair and legit.

Congrats to AARCHANE for winning the elusive glacian arcane egg... which as most of you know can no longer be looted at all! Keep your eye peeled as many of you know we are going to take our guild events / contests to the next level! It's fun to include everyone on the team in helping to devise our fiendish friendly competitions within ENIGMATIC! Everyone plays a part and in our next guild contest we'll make sure everyone, with a little effort, can have a chance at the grand prize. I know during this time in game waiting for an expansion that seems late can be a little frustrating for everyone but it's just part of the game. Remember what it means to be ENIGMATIC:
How to Be Enigmatic
1 Keep silent more often than not. Be prepared to leave some things unsaid and to hold back on sharing your thoughts all of the time. Talk when you know it's essential but don't speak every chance you get. Not everything needs to be commented on––saying things just for the sake of being seen to be "participating" or "one of the crowd" is often simply "noise". Most importantly, your existence doesn't depend on senseless chatter; forming a powerful impression is often about how you carry yourself, how you restrain yourself from idle commentary and how you interject intelligently when it really is a purposeful and meaningful thing to do.

2 Don't be so keen to fill in the gaps. Pauses in conversation have a power all of their own; they can allow for reflection, they can permit the speaker to regain composure and they can also leave plenty of time for the listener's imagination to conjure up whatever it will. Sometimes it's not so much what you say as what you do not say.

3 Be cautious about how much information about yourself you share. In a world where we're constantly told that we have to speak up or risk never been noticed, too much talking and giving away all of your intent, dreams and desires can result in information overload and stereotyping. With nothing left to share, the mystery has gone and it can sometimes be hard to change people's perceptions of you because they've heard too much about who you think you are now. Don't box yourself in––be judicious with what you tell acquaintances and strangers about yourself; be more generous with those closer to you.

4 Be creative in your conversations with other people. Small talk by nature tends to be very banal and tedious. It's about the weather, work hassles, childcare, traffic snarls, more weather, the cost of living, etc. Ultimately, small talk is not the domain of an enigmatic person. Be prepared to tackle the slip into banality through creative responses.

5 Expand your vocabulary. Spend time every day learning a few new words and practicing them in your usual conversations. The broader your vocabulary, the more fascinating you will sound to others and the more enigmatic you will seem when they're forced to check their dictionary to truly grasp what you're on about.

6 Keep your plans to yourself. (except among guild of course) Apart from those closest to you, there's no need to broadcast your whereabouts all the time. Never mention where you're going. If someone asks, reply in kind, such as "same place as you eventually" or "now that's a good question, I just wish I had the answer", and so forth.

7 Make people work hard to get close to you. (this doesn't mean not be friendly) While you may have an abundance of trust, an enigmatic person also exercises a great deal of discretion in whom they place that trust. Those whom you call your nearest and dearest must earn that place by demonstrating their trust in you and not doing anything to undermine your trust in them. Equally, realize that you must also earn people's respect; it's something that can't be bought or forced.
Do not suffer fools. If someone turns out to be very different from the person you thought they were and behaves crassly or stupidly such as gossiping, backstabbing, being dull or belittling you, do not hesitate to distance yourself from this person. Unless (if ever) this person is able to resolve his or her issues, this is not someone to be close to.

8 Be stoic. Stoics control their emotions and passions so that the front they present to the world appears composed, calm and unruffled. This isn't to say that you lack passion or emotion; rather, you choose not to debase yourself by acting in ways that appear overly emotional, reactive or ridiculously excited. Instead, choose to take life as it comes, react calmly to all sorts of news that comes your way and have a "well, after I've looked into it, I'll make up my mind" approach to everything. Overreacting, behaving childishly, jumping with excitement or collapsing with worry are not something you do; enigmatic people do not give much away, ever.

9 Live in the present. The past has passed and you don't buy into nostalgia or weeping for the victim you once were. In fact, enigmatic people never see themselves as victims; things happen, you learn, then you move on. In particular, avoid being drawn into conversations about the past with others; whenever your colleagues, friends, teammates or whoever seem to be getting bogged down waxing about the "good old days" as if today doesn't matter, set them straight. Change the subject and return them to the here and now.

10 Be kind and be reassuring. Enigmatic people may seem mysterious but they're not mean spirited or thoughtless. Indeed, your strong presence is often found to be reassuring because people know that you don't gossip, breach trust or hang others out to dry. You are trusted and people are likely to bring their confidences and concerns to you. When this happens:

11 Be fair minded and willing to break the rules where the rules are stupid. Stupid rules are made to be broken when they don't serve their purpose; everywhere in life there are self-imposed rules, workplace rules, school and college rules and many other rules. While many rules are handy and important for the good functioning of our lives, many other rules are past their use-by date or make another's life easier at the expense of someone else. Rules breakers are independent thinkers who start movements, sway crowds and create better futures because they see outside the box and are not afraid to challenge what deserves to be changed.

Know the difference between a stupid rule and a valid rule. A stupid rule might be one that stops some people from achieving their full potential but allows more privileged people to get what they want; or, it might be one that favors conformity over innovation and creativity; or one that tells people to work harder and faster when to do so is harming them. A valid rule might be one that ensures that people don't harm themselves or others or one that ensures that everyone's opinions have been taken into account. Determining the stupidity or validity of a rule will depend on the context and your understanding of how things work in the given situation. Also, be sure to fully understand the consequences of not going along with the rules; typical responses include social ostracism, getting fired and losing out on things you wanted. Make sure that you can handle the consequences, or be so subtle nobody knows about your involvement or how the changes happened!

12 Pursue unusual interests and hobbies. Let out your inner weirdness by following an interest or hobby that is out of the ordinary and definitely something that arouses curiosity in others. Collect strange things, go on treks to places few visit, take photographs of street grates, disappear in the back shed for hours on end "doing something mysterious", attend conventions about outer space aliens, and so forth. Whatever you choose to do, don't follow the pack; even if you pursue a fairly conventional hobby or interest, find an aspect of it that others have neglected or haven't yet realized exists and make the most of becoming the foremost expert in it.

13 Be prepared. Always have the right tool for everything with you. Think ahead to the places you will be for the day and the types of things that might confront you and be sure to have the items on you. For darkness, have a phone with an in-built flashlight. For spills, have a stain wipe to offer the hapless victim. For cuts, pull out a Band-Aid and a little antiseptic cream. For thirst, offer your spare water. Always be prepared so that others are in awe of your effectiveness in any situation.

Knowing how to make the most of everything is definitely the sign of an enigmatic person because it draws together self-assurance, deep knowledge, capability, ability to stay calm and composed under pressure and a willingness to give new things a try.

14 Stay relaxed. Above all, enigmatic people are not fussed about what others think of them. Nor do they try to hard to cultivate charm––charm is a by-product of being calm, thoughtful, considerate and ready to challenge the status quo. Charm is not something that can be plucked off a shelf and worn (although enigmatic people should always take care to present themselves well through good grooming and neat clothes). By staying relaxed and at ease about yourself and the situations you find yourself in, you will always manage to exude both enigma and charm.

Enigmatic is what this guild is about... it's who we are and why we will earn the respect of others.



Sometime people lose their way and it's unfortunate but there's no reason to need being weighed down by any weak links in our chain. Loyalty is something that's earned.

Dear Enigmatic,

We have had a lot of turnover and I see a few things going on.

1. Some of you are bored and have jumped to a PvP or what you perceive as the 'next cool guild'
2. You are playing Taichi Panda
3. You aren't logging in because there is no longer any viable PvE farming

I do not blame anyone or have hard feelings. However, let me say this. Loyalty is important. If you can't weather the tough times as a guild you aren't Enigmatic to begin.
