New chat filters?

I feel embarrassed posting this, but are there new chat filters?

almost certain I was muted earlier for saying 'fk' :/ obviously I meant 'fight krunch'... dont want to try again as i hate being muted. chat is the best thing ingame atm

The chat filter is getting a little out of hand.

I don't understand why it can't be **** and instead results in a mute. If people have a problem with the words, turn on the filter. Why waste time adding all these different permutations of words

This chat filter literally ruins the fun in the whole game.

So many guildies today and myself have been muted for accidentally typing an extra letter or something.

For those of you who have been seeing the stars in chat (but aren't actually muted) you can turn off filter chat in your options. Do note that bad words will still get you muted. The option just turns off the stars that appear in regular chat.

As a rule of thumb, if you think it is bad, don't say it. There are always better synonyms to get the idea across in a more appropriate manner. Thanks for your understanding! :)
