Why do I get charged double tax when buying platinum I have to pay tax when I buy the iTunes card then when I buy the platinum they charge me taxes there

If you purchase a 20$ card in store the total is not 20$ and try and buy the $9.99 platinum at the price it says and see if it doesn't total up to 10-11$

I've noticed that taxes do apply for some things when I use my credit card on my phone for a In-game purchase but I can't really tell you anything about it lol

When I buy iTunes cards, or any gift cards for that matter, they are tax-free. I don't know if that's Canada only, or wherever you live.
Yes, you are then charged tax when you spend the credit in an app.
