Prize: 1st gets Ripmaw egg. As of now nothing for 2nd and 3rd

Now that more of our chars are 40+ and can go to elites i want to share a strategy on how to earn gold fairly easily.
To do this you must have access to elites and have legendary gear min.(map most productive for mage since no pot spamming required and takes about 4-5min)

The map to farm is called Elite Lost mage mine To get there go to elite arcunam grounds. Pull till you find a turn. At that turn, turn left and pull until the end.

Recommended build for sorcerer: Fire 4/5 everything but last upgrade, Time 4/5 everything but 2nd upgrade, Ice 3/5 no 1st upgrade or last upgrade,heal 2/5 empower only, optional light 3/5 only dmg and crit upgrade
Passives into might,knowledge,agility,crit (Any left over points can go into what you want)

Pets: Slag,dova,orion(many others im sure but these are my main pets to run with)

Now at the beginning you pull through the bridge till you meet a turn. At this turn go right to the next bridge then go back to the turn area. Here, once mobs are all clumped together use a charged clock. Follow up with a fire.(move out of clock range slightly). Spam fire and ice and aim for the purple mages since they will have spawned the mobs by now.

Once mobs are complete go to the end of the of the bridge and wipe all mobs.

Next pull all mobs to the end were you will see a rock. Once mobs have clumped use the same strategy as you did in the beginning to clear the mobs. Once boss spawns switch clock to light. Once boss at 40%- equip lepre.

This map drops locks, essences, elite banded chests, snag, and wrath.
Locks are an occasional drop from the mobs.
Essences are key and drop 3-4 per run. (this is an easy way to make small cash)
Snag and wrath are rare drops and happen every 20 runs or so.
Finally the elite banded chests are pretty high drops from the boss and drop every 5 runs or so.

Conclusion:
This is an easy way to make fast cash without spamming many pots. I average about 5 health pots in 15 runs. This is mainly something to solo when you can't run with other players. Good Luck

Another guide yay!!
This guide is again for mages.
The map is Elite Windmoore harbor.
Estimated time: 10-15min
Estimated pot use: 0-5 per run
Necessary stats: 400 dmg minimum, and about 2.8k health (these stats are achievable with basic legendary gear.)

Recommended build: Fire 4/5 everything but last upgrade ( or gale as this is effective Instatanthumor suggestion), Ice 3/5 no 1st or 5th upgrade, Heal 2/5 empower upgrade only, shield 4/5 no drawback,optional 3/5 light no aoe or rip upgrade. Passives 5/5 in might, agility, knowledge, and crit.

Pets: orion, dova, slag (many more)

Now for the map. Charge in until you see the 3 pirates attack you. Kill them by kiting and slowly move on until you find the curve/bend in the map.

Drag out the stray gunners and fight them individually (be sure to use ice to freeze them)

next use ice on the group of 2 gunners and 2 pirates. Freeze the gunners and kill them first. Then attack the pirates by kiting.

Now a huge mob will spawn. If they are too overwhelming run back to the beginning of bridge spamming skills. Some mobs will be stunned while others will reset. Kill stunned mobs then kill the rest.

Next you see 2 group of mobs. Try and catch out single gunners and pirates without attracting too much aggro.

Now some details about ripmaw / 400k event:
You will get a party of 3 ppl and one officer. (the officer will not help you)
You must run every map from brak to the end of dead as fast as you can.
Times for each map will be counted up meaning that you can talk strategy during mid maps.
It is your choice for your group to take either the ripmaw egg or the gold.
If you run with guildies i expect the reward to be split evenly or however your group wants it to. (i will only give if i have approval from everyone in the pt)
This will take over a prolonged period of time.
The event officially starts now!! and will extend until the 12/1/2014 or if everyone willing to participate finishes it.

Rules:
You must run with an officer in the pt unless given permission by me alone and you have a forum account.
You must have the same party for every run!*
Must be member or recruter in guild. Only officer allowed to participate is Centaxius.

Estimated time for all completing groups will be over 30 min which is why you can split it up. You may have to coordinate times with your party.

All officers pls spread the word about this event within guild.
