I'm not sure of anyone has noticed this, but I feel like there's a kind depression/hate hovering around forums and in the game. The devs are literally letting some stupid threads run away with out being stopped, Trolls and flamers are seemingly spawning every day here. The devs are not on nearly as much, nor are they banning people who deserve it, and it seems that people who I used to respect and look up too in the game have been going bananas. Not caring what they say, or how they say it. I hate to say it, but I feel like the social aspect of this, (which is one of the things that make this game so attractive) has fallen to the trolls and flamers, everyday a new ridiculous threads pop up without being shut down for days, in which that time friendships are broken and anger has seemingly taken over. I myself are not innocent, I have been jumping down some people's throats for reasons that now seem ridiculous. So I really do hope that we the players, and the devs of STS, will work out a way to make this place back to the way it was. On another note, I think all of us should think twice before raging on a thread or a chat, and take the high road, not necessary ignoring someone, but talking in a way that doesn't make them your enemy.

That's all I gotta say, I really do hope some ppl think about this seriously.

Yep, I got mad about chat filter a bit too much. But you're right, this is just too far. We should concentrate about the good things

I agree, seems like we now need a Mod on 24/7 to continuously monitor. I don't think STS has that set up right now, I think the mods pop in when they can because before it wasn't necessary to have the 24/7 monitoring that seems to be needed now.

I have observed that things are like this. Some raging coz game is going the p2w way. Some raging coz of chat filters. Some coz of never fixing bugs. And then there is daily pvp thingy.

Tbh the raging is quite expected from players when they dont get what they expect.

Lol the mods will just close and delete threads which will lead to double rage

Bingo.

Pushing dirt under the carpet is not the way to get the house clean.

What else do you think they should do? I know they go in and clean threads up at times removing comments etc, but closing and deleting threads is what they are here for. Do I think that every thread that gets closed deserves that no, but they have to do their job. Banning people doesn't always work either, look at the most recent thread that is causing issue someone just went and made a random forum account.

What the OP is saying (I believe) is that letting troll threads go on and on for hours and or even days needs to stop, that the mods are not around as much as they should be to close them down. That overall the community is just not the same anymore because now we do need 24/7 monitoring.

Change should be from inside. Forcing wont work

Mods and Devs can't see every thread every minute.

If you see a thread that breaks forum rules, click the report button.
This alerts the mods to look through the thread for any rules broken and take the proper action.

Oh, I'm sure STS will say their word sooner or later, just be patient and don't feed trolls. Disappointment threads are popping out like mushrooms after rain, so no wonder trolls have started to wander around, creating their own and responding to existing ones.
