Tidal Surge of Pot or Dev Maul of Pot for lvl 6 pvp?

Dev maul. The tidal surge is one of the weaker DPS weapons. If you wish for a DPS weapon over a Dev maul, I would use a storm sword or at the least a Captain's axe.
