Yes, this is a good idea cause' me and others can finally get rid of the 5 day vanities, but i don't think plat-bought vanities should be tradable....

Make all of the 5 plat vanities tradeable. Higher than 5 plat vanities will not be tradeable.

Because people would be getting vanities that they didn't buy when they were out for a limited time? If someone has the 2010 flaming pumpkin helm and then out of nowhere a bunch of new people have one, that would make you feel mad right? They are to make you feel special that you have something that most people don't have anymore. That's most likely the reason. IMO if all vanities became tradable that would suck for the people who have the rare ones like 2010 jack-o-lantern pumpkin helm.

Ok ive been offered millions for this little lucky hat that have, and I know they were removed after the event. I waved at a developer to get mine and I think id like to retract my original statement of why vanities shouldn't be traded. So lets allow all vanities to be trade able, i mean, why not? sure there well be some sellers remorse and so on, but let us learn the hard way.

I agree with the idea of discontinuing the trade/sale of coin shields, this should have been stopped with the ending of the event smash chests week. but as far as the elite items go, those are fine the way they are. although i may never accumulate enough gold to ever buy one, it doesnt bother me at all. But they need to be discontinued, the l76 elites that is.

Because some vanity items are not meant to be given away or traded. for instance the founder helm signifies that you were a player during the first week of Pocket Legends. Now imagine if you could just trade that away, say you did trade it away, and someone challenged your boast of being a first week founder/member of PL, how would you prove yourself otherwise? You've traded the helm away proving this fact, but now have nothing else to back up your story. case an point, it would cause other problems, people being scammed for items they purchased with platinum who paid actual cash for their platinum items. or even from a 3rd angle, if anyone who had a lot of platinum were to simply purchase a platinum item and sell it for gold, they could then charge ridicules prices for said item and it simply wouldnt end well. Another perfect example, this bug was fixed so i heard, there were users exploiting the plat purchased recipes of l77 lustrous items and selling them in the consignment shop for ridicules prices, and making gold off of it. theres a post by sinful about this happening in the crafting thread. How is that fair to other users who spend time farming for these recipes spending countless hours hoping for one of these to drop, when someone else can simply purchase the recipe for 30 plat and then sell it for 300-500k gold?

Yea, i edited my previous statement from page one. that vanities now should be trade able, I like the idea of someone paying me 8-12 million for this little lucky hat that I parade around in, its such a great conversation starter too.

now im having mixed feelings, I'd probably be upset a day later if i sold it, but then again, if it went for the right price, i could buy far more interesting vanities to talk about, so i guess im 50/50 on this issue now. yea i love this hat and yea i love having enough gold so i can buy what ever I please in PL. SIGH<>EXHALE....idk what I want...i guess if it came time to make a choice, id say make em trade able.

not sure if id actually sell this hat if i had the chance, yea i think about the offers i get for it, but if it came down to it, i probably wouldn't part with it. its such a nice convo starter. I know they were taken away after the st patties day event this year, or so im told, and it looks so swaggy on my bird or bear. like i said earlier, if I was offered the right price, I give it some thoughtful consideration.

Wouldn't this collapse the market in PL? People would make their gold by spending lots of money and repeatedly buying the same vanity just to sell... I mean, yeah I guess to me it's cool because I have all the gear I want at this point, plus STS would generate some revenue. Regardless, the entire game economy would be at stake lol

This has been discussed numerous times before and always ends up in arguments. AL is the place to be to buy/sell/trade vanities.
