For 75 I believe swift is better if I'm not mistaken and no only crafted 77 sets have a bonus

The L75 stuff from ancient caverns are the equivalent of the "chiroptera" L65 pinks from Mt. Fang. Just like chiro stuff, it can't be crafted and can drop from non-boss "large" foes, i.e. the big golems, which are the equivalent of the vampires in fang. And just like chiro, it's not as good as the previous area's crafted stuff, i.e. demonic sets. So yeah, it's not surprising you're better off in BSM crafted gear.
