Level 50 paladin helm?

Hey guys I have a level 50 currently intmage. I'm using full Shadow gear and want to switch to either a dual or a straight paladin. I have all the rift gear except the helm.

My question is this: Can I get away as a decent paladin with a different helm until I get my OL rift? Let me know any good options, and your opinion on whether or not you would simply stick with Int until you had full rift.

use jacob's until you get it

Yeah you can still be good with jacobs, but you won't have the bonus.

Also you can use jacobs helm for hammer bonus, which I have seen some ppl who were very successful in pvp with.
