Simiple idea.
Add in game private chat channels. These channels can be made by anyone and they are password protected.
If you join a private chat channel in game it is like private messaging but it is sent to everyone in the channel.
This can be a great way to ask people who your friendly with if they want to group with you rather than whispering everyone individually.
You can also disable private chat if you don't want to be bothered.
The creater of the of the channel can modify who is in it.
I think this idea would make communication between people much easier untill guilds come out.
