Switched Damage?

Just looking at some different weapons when I noticed these damages seemed a little reversed:

A bit odd that a L60 weapon should have over 50 max damage on the "best" 1h str weapon in the game

Really 200 damage on a L60 1h weapon seems really extreme to me

Weapon damage isn't one dimensional. The speed indicates how many times per second you hit, so even if a slow weapon hits for more damage in a single hit, it will hit less times per minute let's say so the overall damage will be less. In this case 0.8 compared to 1.4 is almost two full hits by the "weaker" level 77 weapon which means technically twice it's damage per every one hit of the "strong" demonic mace. So in actuality the level 77 sword does 406-416 damage to the demonic maces 198-273. These numbers aren't 100% accurate because of the 0.2 second difference in hit speed but you get the idea. Plus all the other stats of the weapon are far above demonic mace set. All in all they may appear even at a glance, but are far apart in reality.

Next half belongs to skill DMG that actually should make the big differece.

Also auto base DMG of str and dex sets (l77) have been decreased while DPS have been increased than l75 sets. That's da trick
