Nah pallies are beatable if you have quite a lot of experience. Bears are the hardest but because I recently got my 2 pc it is a bit easier. Birds are quite simple if you know how to correctly use MS.

Dude fiery Mage is better for ctf then 1v1. U gotta have tank in front of you to do good. (3pc fiery is OP, don't need tank)

INT mages are without a doubt the best team players. The only reason I still play this game (4+ years) is because of my ability to contribute to a team in a legitimate CTF match. Find a pally or bear to tank in front of you, and your heals/revive/damage (trust me, you can rack up kills more easily than you think) will be very welcoming.

If you need any advice in game, I'd love to help - feel free to send a PM. INT mages are my favorite class to play. I've tried playing pally and they're unbelievably boring and require nearly no skill compared to an int mage.

1v1s against pallys is a challenge, but IMO is what makes it fun. It comes down to timing up your heal, mana shield, and drain as well as how and when you attack.

When you kind of "master" the mage, you'll be able to time up distances and read other classes attacks much better.

1v1 bear fights are boring too, the 75 and 77 sets are tanky and it will take a while before someone dies in a bear fight, especially if they have 2pc/3pc elite rings.

wrong , As a bird iv beaten many mages with fiery and savage, who claim to be "skilled". And i can comfirm that i am a noob . All you need is a good combo ,more than half the mages out there cant time their ms . u gotta be an eagle , swoop down and rek them. But ye if ur a skilled mage like blitz or sheu and have correct timing then birds are probably easy for u .

They early ms because they know birds can kill them by just using blast shot and repause/blinding/break armor.
