the description said increased impact damage by 15%

but after testing on some unit, instead it reduce the impact damage (first damage from nox bolt) by around 15%...

anyone can test it too? just to confirm

thanks

Take a sample of 50 shots without any upgrades or pet equipped. Repeat with just that upgrade. I'll do it when I have some free time, hopefully this is incorrect.

criticals omitted of course, according to this impact damage reduction is almost 20 percent, huhuhu

aside from that, damage from smoke and trap explode is almost the same, even though trap explode damage is said 'high damage' -_-a, and it is around half of normal AS damage...

Nice work, I'm verifying this and putting on the list. :)

Oh no! And I've been using this upgrade since forever! So better not a skill pt there atm?

It appears so. Generally in game, the maximum targettable enemies of a skill/pet affect damage by dispersion, even if the final target hit is only one or two. I can't apply this logic to explain why an upgrade that promises 15% more impact damage ends up actually reducing damage for a similar amount (15-20) though. Added on list.

So following this, if you would choose an exploding skill, it should be veil and not trap since it covers a larger area while delivering the same "high damage" promised by traps, correct?

Hope a dev can clear this up. Love free respec weekends!

well, considering traps cd is 10s, while veil is 15s, and traps can have 20% procs for no cd, then, it's almost the same, lol :P, but only spend on this if you feel don't have anything to spend to, lol

What level did you test this on? Just curious.

i'm 41, doing it with legendary gears, no pet, and didn't spent any attribute points, did it on first spear goblin enemy in elite brackenridge

Should test every single skill in game, there are too many bugs like this.
