Definitely not top priority, but yet..

Like the title says, Devs definitely have alot bigger things to worry about in-game and even on the forums, but something bugged me when I signed up and edited my profile.

The Avatars, now I completely agree with having preset ones to choose from, because usually when people are permitted to upload their own, it gets out of hand.

I'm not saying that we should be able to upload our own avatars, I actually prefer the preset way, but maybe add another row or 2 or 3 of preset ones to choose from? Just for more customization of the member of the forum, and more variety.

Like I said, not a big deal at all, just a suggestion (=

you'll soon notice how there are only 2 post ranks, and the limitations on signatures...

puts a damper on creativity. same way ion the end we are all cookie-cutter copies of the same class and build, our forum avatars are always so similar

I brainstormed ideas in another thread a while ago. I skef asommers to add an alien as one, and he said he'd at it to the list.

I was thinking stuff like a gold coin, or anubis, and maybe some exclusive ones for oldies, and certain post counts.

Yeah, I was brainstorming examples to put up, but decided just to stick with a suggestion since it's not a big deal.

I agree. All human beings need to enjoy the feeling of letting their emotions run free, and if that just so happens to be by creating a personal signature, then they should do it.

Anyway, during the signature revolt, all the participants would post their signature at the end of every single post. We went Gandhi Style on the forums, and we achieved our goal. I feel as though I just liberated Russian serfs back in the day, except I didn't make them pay their life's earnings for the freedom...

Well that was a good rambling on. I don't really know what the point was. I guess to fight for your freedom and beliefs, and also to let your emotions run rampant.

No, you definitely do not fail. I believe that you not having a sig symbolizes your inner feelings being held back. Let them loose by creating a signature.

All I did was take 8 screen shots of the bear in different positions. (rotating)

Erased the back ground. (called spriteing)

Then Put them in order and save it as a .gif


Also I used the program Gimp to do it. :)

Only special people can use GIMP, I know this because I tried using it for a few months and I just became very frustrated and raged on my computer, but at least it's good for you :D

Gimp is actually very similar to Photoshop, except in my opinion Photoshop is just so much more organized with a cleaner, more user friendly interface.

I agree. The user interface of Gimp can get overwhelming... Might be because it's free and Photoshop cost $$$
