PVP: Passive Vocal Players?

Really felt the need to address a frustrating scenario that constantly occurs when entering a PVP game....

You enter an established game with your head on a swivel. Ready to heal your team, drop bombs, or otherwise unleash havoc upon your enemies. Immediately after your first aggressive torrent against an enemy player you're bombarded by players whining about your actions...

APPARENTLY...You've just interrupted someones conversation!

I routinely practice what I consider to be good PVP etiquette but guys...seriously?! If you want to chit chat about your best combat techniques or perhaps the current annual snowfall in Michigan, that's fine...I just ask that you don't complain when you're dead because you were standing on the tracks when the train came through. If you're enjoying a good social experience with some people you met while pvping, fantastic...make a private match so you won't be bothered by people who want to play the game the way it was meant.

Another scenario....

Your entrance into a match has unbalanced the teams to a 2v1 situation. It's bothersome to hear people crying out over, and over, "wat r u doing noob?! it's 1v1!" after engaging the opponent.

Sorry folks...for starters, it ain't 1v1. It's 3v3 (or whatever), the other folks just havn't arrived yet. I'm mentioning this as a person who ain't afraid to get my butt kicked. I've sucked down quite a bit of frustration gutting out 3v1 situations cause people are nice and cozy padding stats, or simply too lazy to balance the teams. If you don't like the odds you have several other options, sitting in the lobby being one of them, until the game balances.

And I have to disagree with the 1v1 part. But yeah the convos can be taken to town where it's safe from people who will ignore the fact that a conversation is taking place between the teams... Yuh filling mah sarcasm bluh?

Where the hell else is someone going to have a 1v1 fight??? There is not a 1v1 arena, so all one can do is make a 3v3 or 5v5 and lock it, but people who are on friends lists can still get in and ruin it. If you see two people fighting alone and one person not involved, it's usually a 1v1 fight and you should know not to interfere. When I join games that are pretty quiet, I usually ask if there is anyone having a 1v1. If so, I'll either wait my turn, leave, or just chat.

Maybe you should reconsider your friends list population if you're having trouble with people "ruining" your battle.

Do you share the same courtesy when you're the 5th player in a 3/3 battle?

I only have two thing to say...bro. First, Ladylove has been playing since about the first day this game came out (check your leader board for pvp) she is 2nd in kills. Second, you have 4 forum posts. With all due respect shut up! Fyi I posted this at 230am.

Hehe not exactly first day, but first week or two. Close enough.

And often I will sit out in a 3v2 match. Now, if the opposing team of two people is putting a serious hurting on my team while I'm not fighting, I'll step in because I know the opposing team can handle one more person.

I totally agree. (with the original post) :P

I mean, I practice pvp manners. If I'm the extra player in an inbalanced game I'll often sit out because it feels like an empty victory when I win based on an obvious advantage. I try to let spawned players have a second to buff before I barrage them with skills in team pvp. Usually.

When I enter a game, I assume it's FFA. If it's locked, I assume it's a special game for testing or 1v1 and I never go in guns blazing. So basically, if you want 1v1 lock your game, and if you join a locked game ask what's going on. Then there's no problem. :)

Allow my tone to accommodate an identical volume of "due respect" when I point out the total worthlessness of your post. Not only did it fail to elaborate on anything relating to the initial post, you're attempt to draw conclusions regarding several COMPLETELY unrelated factors with such a haughty tone further cripples your credibility. Lemme itemize a few things to help you understand better...

1. Ladylove is a fine player.
2. Although I don't agree with her necessarily, I appreciate her sincere opinion on the topic at hand.
3. Having more kills doesn't increase the frequency of one's "correctness".
4. A higher volume of forums posts does not mean you're intelligent, as you've helped us observe.
