So I am working in creating a new bear, so being a level 26 I'm in fathom crypt....well I come along this quest and I need to kill this spawned boss called Axis. I killed him and I got a conquered earthquake hammer...why did this item drop in a fathom crypt map instead of a sand stone cave map?

fathom is level based . For example , if ur l75 , l75 items will be dropped to u . Like beastly flying etc . The same way u were around that level so it dropped a hammer . Its quiet common . i recall getting a starry armor while trying to get my mage from 76 to 77 in maze

No. Flying Armor is for level 71, 73, and 75. BSM is for those levels. So if you're level 68, 69, 70, or 71, you can farm level 71 armor. If you're level 72 or 73, you can farm the level 73 version. If you're level 74 or 75, you can farm the level 75 version.
Also, this is more of a bug.
