Guidelines
Strive to be an excellent player
Be open minded to learning and listen to others' ideas.
If at first you don't succeed...try again. Then ask for advice and/or help in guild chat.
Ensure you're having fun. Playing should bring enjoyment, excitement and a sense of accomplishment.
Members are encouraged to share game experiences and knowledge.
Avoid being a drain on the guild
Begging is strictly prohibited and is grounds for immediate removal from the guild.
Scammers are dealt with swiftly and decisively, and will be reported to STS. Any violation of STS’ Terms of Service will result in immediate action.
Leeches are players who let others do all the work knowing they could be helping their party. Repetitive leeching is grounds for removal from the guild.
Be respectful in your communications with others. Spamming, trolling, inappropriate language, unsolicited party invites and the like will eventually result in removal.
Money Matters
Be entrepreneurial in acquiring better gear and earning gold for your character.
Lending gold and items between guild members is generally discouraged. If you choose to lend, be willing to accept that you may never see your gold or item again.
Trading with other guild members is encouraged, including listing items for sale in guild chat.
For all guild transactions please follow these guidelines:
Item must discounted at least 10% for legendary items and 5% for mythic/arcane items
Item price must be clearly stated
Avoid spamming guild chat or personal messages to guild members.
You may announce an item once every 15 minutes in guild chat.
All transactions are final.
Player vs Player
A cool head is required for PvP. If you hold grudges or take it too personally, don’t PvP. Handling victory or defeat with honor, grace and dignity is a hallmark of a good PvP player.
PvP Guidelines
Tranquil is a neutral guild. Guild alliances create unnecessary drama and detract from the fun.
Guild tag is optional. Your character, your title.
Guildmates are fair game! Honorable combat between guildmates is encouraged, especially for training purposes.
Fight for your team. If you are red, be red. If you are blue, be blue.
Leave the arena if your team...
...is hopelessly outmatched.
...has members who fail to fight because of a guild alliance.
...is bullying the opposing team.
Fight with honor,
Treat opponents with respect, especially weaker opponents
Be genteel and noble with teammates and opponents
Gently but firmly challenge bullying when witnessed
Avoid dishonorable behavior, including:
Ganging: group of two or more overwhelming one or more opponents.
Spot Blocking: taking up a spot on the opposing team with the intention of blocking additional players from joining for support.
Spawn Farming: a gang which moves quickly between CTF spawn rooms to trap and kill opponents repeatedly.
Inappropriate language: Keep the trash talk as clean as possible.
