Well I've opened 500 lockeds and only ever got 1 mythic, no arcane.

I've never opened any locked crate in my entire AL life. But thanks to the test server, I finally got the chance to pop some crates. Then I spent all 2000 plat (plus plat that I got from popping crates) opening hundreds of Elondrian locked crates (which was supposed to have double odd for mythics). I only got 1 mythic ring and 1 doom amulet.

Long story short, you can end up poorer than you can be. But if you're feeling lucky, why not? :)

Seems like crates are the only thing worthwhile of spending plat on, unless your grinding to 41..

Don't expect to hit a jackpot with 900 tho...

I just spent 2000 plat on test server and I looted Singe! So that's around $100 for a 16m pet. No mythics, no hj and it could have been disaster had I looted nothing at all! It's a risk and it's a test of luck. I could have sold all those locked for a couple million and farmed Singe myself like I did with everything else. The satisfaction from winning the lottery leaves you feeling a little empty. I rather tell people that I don't open crates and earned everything the old fashioned way :)

What made me stop opening crates is the fact u have just as small of a chance opening 9000 crates or 1 crate on looting goodies. U can actually open all 9000 crates and not loot a single good item. Or u can open 4 and loot 4 arcane items. GL if u take a chance. I for one have given up on them
