I just started and I'm almost level 20, I was wondering what's the best way to spend platinum if I buy around $20? My gear is pretty bad, I was thinking about buying Slag since I heard he's good. Any suggestions?

Slag is good but he isn't available from the stable currently. Addadon and Grimm should be available soon. Both are descent pets. You could save for them. Pets cost 250 plat when available via the stable.

I don't think $20 is enough to buy a mythic pet from stable.

248 platinum for $19.99 (first time buying platinum)
then its 165 platinum for $19.99 later..
Buy a leprechaun pendant. Farm locks and items, and sell. And yes, you might want to wait for Grimm or abbadon

Yeah I would say Lep, or save the plat and use for revives. Trust me you will use those as a mage!
