Yep, Longclaw comes from Jon Snow's sword. It was originally the ancestral weapon of house Mormont, which is essentially the reason why I named my Dovabear after it instead of some other pet.

Aether is actually a reference to chemical ethyl group, which was named after the Greek god Aether.
