Introduction
This is a thread for everyone.(updated)
Many players who don't spend real money complain that it's hard to be rich without spending lots of plats.
Many players do spend real money on plats but still can't be rich and say that it is only about luck.
However, it is not true. It is possible to be rich, you just need to know how and make efforts on it.
Ok, let's begin!! :D

As long as you're online, you can...

1)Level up:
It is important to reach the present level cap because it is easier and faster for you to kill mobs and bosses.
The faster you kill, the more money you get :)

2)Do Daily quests:
There are lots of daily quests that give little cash after you complete it.
Rewards with around (or more than) 500g is worth to do.
The following two quests are special quests...
a)Wandering Minstrel:
This special quest found in tavern gives special tokens which can be used to buy character slots, inventory and many other things.
b)Olde Yodeler
It is a great quest for those who are still leveling up.
This awesome quest located at stronghold gives 300 exp by killing 200 spiders/wolves.

3)Meet Allies (klass and shazbot):
They give you elixirs/potions/eggs every 8 hours for klass and 24 hours for shazbot.
Make use of the items you get!

4)Hunt locked:
This might be the most common way to be rich, but it is a little tedious...
Whenever you get a luck elixir from allies, run km3/brackenridge like crazy!
With the release of elixir kit, you can get luck by buying then opening luck kit.
You can easily sell locked via auction...

5)Merchantandise:

After reaching the level cap (or one level before the cap(not advisable)), you can also...

1)Do hauntlet:
Located at kragg, giving one hauntlet coin every run.
No level requirement, but much easier and faster to do it at the present level cap.
With hauntlet coins you can buy special eggs and sell them.

2)Do Arena:
Rouge is the best class to do this, but the others can join rouges to help them.
As same as hauntlet, no level requirement, but easier and faster to do it at the present level cap.
A nice place ,again, located at kragg to hunt elite golden puzzlebox.

It is harder than normal maps, so you need better gear to do this.
Eggs, weapons, gear and dragkin teeth(elite tindirin only) can be looted.
Elite items are better, therefore, more expensive.

Save your money!!
After doing things listed above, you should have some money now.
No? Wait...have you ever feel like you're making money but also wasting money at the same time?
If income<outcome then you are doing it wrong!!
Here are the ways you can save money...

1)Do not feed your pets:
Pets become unhappy and need to be fed approximately every 15m.
(As an end game player)If you keep playing using one pet, you spend around 1k every 15m.
You are spending more and faster than your income!
To solve this problem, always put your pet in stable as long as you're not using it.
And if your pet becomes unhappy, use other pets instead and let it restore its happiness.

2)Buy potions from guild hall:
You need potions as long as you are playing in a map, whether health or mana.
You can't refuse to buy any since doing this will make you earn money slower.
But good news is, there are cheaper potions in guild hall. Go and get it!
Always buy potions from guild hall to save money.
IMO, it is better to buy as many as possible once since you don't know when you will consume them all.


Conclusion
This game isn't just about luck, you can be rich as well if you work hard.
Luck isn't something comes to you but something you need to earn:D
You just need to be patient, keep farming, merch and have fun:)

I'm also a non plat user from the beginning i.e 2013 Feb when I started and I played this game like hell and I used to mearch a lot of things and made a lots of gold millions trust me .

my favourit way to earn gold is "event" :chuncky: farm event item (chest,equip,egg,vanity) as much as u can... Then keep chest,egg,vanity and best type equipment (brutality/assault type for Mage,assault/potency type for Warrior,potency/brutality type for Rogue) at least 2 month after the event end. This depending how many "item event" ppl put in CS,if u see still many ppl sell that item u wanna sell,then hold for a while. Or depending that "event item" u wanna sell is discontinued or no. If yes,more longer u keep more better their value. hope this can help and sorry for my english :chuncky: happy farm and play

This is a nice guide BUT, all in all paying for plat and getting lucky for lucks paves the way to success a lot easier than hard work. In truth, unless a F2P player has no life and can continuously play AL they will never be able to have the same items or experience the FULL AL as the platters do :/

After play almost 2 year i learn something about merchant,do not sell in rush (except you're in condition who need fast gold ) coz you'll never know what event gonna coming. For example is gem,usually i just sell gem in double super gem week. Before that time come,i do merchant (buy gem from other player) or farm essence... My merchant friend said patience is the key,pick the right time to sell,and don't forget to check on forum to know what next event who will come or to check price something you wanna sell...

when gloom came out i was ready to flip...then i found out they fixed the death glitch that alows you to get 3 tokens every run/ 1 for passing the end line and 2 for the 2 times you went back and killed yourself in an acid puddle and like all together with the quests was like 5 tokens../it has changed now to 4 tokens the first time with quests and 1 token every other run witch means (harder token farming). Altough its worth it all because of gloom XD! whitch is about 925 HT (huntlet tokens) correct me if im wrong about the HT price. Thing is this pet is worth alot/id say around 500k+ (^u^) just another good method for gold for none plat users like me

i got 950k last time by selling blood , im not a plat user . i just hope some player doesnt sell anything to cheap , for ex . people selling 120k for each blood in auct , while u sell for 100k in auction for reason = i hope it sold faster . i just hope if u wanna sell faster and cheaper than u shouldnt sell items in auct . cuz of this , many blood bec dropped and now it bec 85k , while i bought the mass for 90k -_-.
