Damage of pets

The dmg reflected on top of the pet stats , can someone kindly explain the breakdown as to how it differs?

2 of my pets : grimm (mythic class) and valkin( legendary class) are level 41.
Both have same damage i.e 178, where as hammerjaw (arcane class) has a distinction and is at 208 damage at level 40 at the moment.
Why is it so that the mythic class isnt above the legendary class.

Because the mythic-ness of mythic pets is in their happiness bonus, passive and arcane abilities. In all cases except scorch, this is more than enough to rate their higher rarity ranking. If they also increased the base damage on mythic pets, they would be more op than the developers intended. That kind of power is what they reserve for arcane pets.
