Now, he's most likely scamming others, and tricking em into giving him their acc info so he can get on and steal their stuff. To further clarify, under the game menu is official platinum purchase. All purchases go through apple and spacetime. 3rd party are people who sell under the counter, or not going through apple or spacetimes hands at all.
