It happens all the time. ''Please buy your item you have listed in auction for cheaper price'' ok sure pt me (cancels listing to sell privately) ''sorry don't want item now'' Angry, relist, lose golds.

It's not trolling, it's an underhanded move so their item or an item of their alt account or friends is now the cheapest in auction. Really sucks when the listing item is 3m and up.

I never reply to those... I prefer to wait three days and in the worst case to lose fee if the item not sells

more annoyin is when someone asks you some item for high price you check cs and it's 2x cheaper than he asked... you buy it try to trade him and he leaves :p i once was dumb enough to trust this... lesson learned

I've been burned a few times as well, but the vast majority of the time the transaction goes through fine. I always ask "are you sure?" right before I take down the auction.

Just tell them to buy the item(if they have enough) from auc and you will give them the difference from your original price and the new "cheap" price.

Also if they don't want to do what Volt said. Tell them to wait until it will get expired from auc and you will pm them after.

i do encounter buyers who asked for this thing, gladly, i never got trolled even once. I would love to give a little discount to them (price deduction on cs fee). However, if you got trolled, just try selling them on pier or on forums, no cs fee needed :)
