Question about the damage passive

I've noticed the damage passive seems to actually give you more bonus to damage than it promises in the powers menu.

It claims to give you +41 damage if you put six points into it. But if you respec and look at your stats before and after maxing it out, it seems to be closer to 60. That's odd.

Does anyone know why this happens?

If you make a respec of all your attributes then you change all including the points you assign so don't expect you gonna have the same configuration you was have bafore many factors affect your status and respec change whole this.
