Is the double odds really working well as past times?

Just need a confirmations how it's going on with the double odds weekend...whether it like the same during 2013 May or is their any change?

To me, the double odds is not helping crates at all.. The only profitable items to loot now are Arcane rarity and we all know how infinitesimally small that loot chance is.

The majority of valuable items looted from crates are the declining mythic items (helm/armor, rings/amulets). They are outdated and I believe the crates need a new addition if they are to be opened at the rates before.

Something off topic would be my idea of releasing different mythic sets so there would be more gear diversity. A set for elite and a set for PvP, therefore there would also be a hybrid set. I think it would also add more revenue for STG since plat-spenders would be trying to loot a variety of items and won't be limited to just a small amount of outcomes. It makes sense... People would impulsively open more crates if there were 10 mythics chances in crates instead of say, 5.

If STG wanted to add incentives for opening more crates, they could always release special gems in the crates such as crit gems, armor gems, and/or proc gems. They could tweak the loot chance so the gems won't be extremely cheap.

I kinda rambled a bit but that's just my opinion with the current crates.

I can't comment, this time I've decided 'guaranteed' profit as everytime I open 100-200 locked I lose gold even on previous double mythic weekends and sharkweek was a farce so I sold all mine. One thing I would say is STS should release the % chances for the roulette wheel know as locked. Gambling for 13 year olds is bad enough, but gambling without knowing the odds is wrong.

Alow me to explain, yes double odds is double odds I do belive the odds are doubled, however you have triple the amount of people opening them so the probability of you looting something is actually worse lol.

If the mythic items in lockeds worth something consistent, probably less people will be here complaining.
Lockeds need a lifting, botox or something.

I opened 140 crates. They should change the promo name to 2k weekend as over 60 of the crates were 2k gold x3. This by far is the worst round of crate openings I have ever had. Alas I knew better, but still fell into the STS trap again.

some Conquistador,Conquerer,and crap...All in all I believe the double odds weekend is legit..The people at Sts work pretty hard to bring us a great game,in my opinion,and yes I've complained in the past about opening crates but when it comes down to it...it is in fact a gamble with locked crates..Taking a chance doesn't always pay off and usually you're gonna lose but thats what makes that small percentage of the time you do win even sweeter...

Me myself a non plat player during ursoth event I got plat only for 5 locks and I got Elodrian Mythic Bow in my last crate probably I'm the first to loot the bow by that time I think I got it on second day....it's just the matter of luck u have at that hour..at that minute...at that sec :) :p

I've never had much luck opening crates...I guess I was due and it hit with a streak...In the past I've spent an amount of $$ I'd rather not disclose..Really,if you average out the entire amount I've spent on plat,just to open crates,and compare it with this current run of luck,I'm still in the hole.
