Keeping the Focus on Fun - Double Odds Crates & Chests

Hello everyone,

I am writing you today to discuss an issue with our most recent weekend event: Double Arcane & Mythic Odds for Locked Crates and Golden Elite Dragonscale Chests. Earlier today, we noticed some unrelated discrepancies between our development environment and the live game server. It looks like something happened in Thursday's update. The process to build and deploy an Arcane Legends weekend event is pretty complex. While we have many safeguards and processes in place to verify data, there are still issues that can arise as a part of maintaining a live game. This lead to some concern that the loot table changes for double odds might not have been applied correctly.

Long story short, we believe firmly in "better safe than sorry." Any players who opened Locked Grand Crates or Elite Golden Dragonscale chests from the start of the event yesterday through now, will all have the crates and chests returned and platinum refunded for the crate opens. Anyone who did open one of these crates or chests will be able to keep anything received from them.

Our sincerest apologies for any confusion or inconvenience. As of the posting of this thread, the problem has been fixed and it has been confirmed that the loot tables are as they should be for Double Odds Weekend.

Everyone is getting the plat returned, the crates returned and you get to keep all items you looted by the sounds of it :)

Based on the notes, you get your crates/chests back and plats used. You also get to keep whatever items/garbage you looted. 0 loss for openers.

I open more than 300 locked but get 4 mythic 3 amor 1 amulet doom,double odds meaning sts double it arcane pet that everyone needed sameal but too many crap item i get, i dont know wat to say it i feel buying plat to open locked that too many not worth it since 2010 i playing star legends and arcane legends, seem sts very complicated to giving players happy. When I logged In, I noticed I have 2000 plat in my inventory. Did not know about this thread then. So I bought alot of locked crates in AC and maybe take advantage of the "glitch" but did not loot any mythic or arcane. I guess karma got me. LoL

I open lock in 5+ hour before they update to fix and refund the plat and crate.
I have 2 friend that open lock same time with me and they get the refund..
I still online here in forum before and after they do update and i ask how to get a refund and return plat and crate.

Today, i opened about 110+ locked grand crates. I did not even get a single mythic item. Best i got was ethyl.. I thought it was "double odds event" for a reason. Waste of time and $ smh STS. I doubt i'd get a refund on this one (1700 plats)

I opened about 12 crates right at the start of the double odds event and I got refunded very quickly. However I did not get any crates back only plats. This is fine by me because I think I got all the plats used for opening the crates + 15 plats for each crate I opened. I started out with 160 plats and now I have well over 300 (but no extra crates). So not sure how all the refunding works but it is fine by me. :-)


Edit: checked stash and found my crates. Never mind.

If you opened them before double odds update you wont get refunded. The refund was to the players that opened locked under the assumption the odds were doubled for the event before they fixed whatever bug caused the crates to have normal odds.

Ah ok then you just ned to be patient. Support probably has thousands of emails after this announcement that they're working to get through. I may get frustrated with the game itself sometimes (usually because I'm impatient) but support has always been top notch.

also, did the elite gold dragon chest's chance to drop get messed up? i normally get quite a few, this past weekend i got one.

Hi all! Just to close the loop on this one, here are the details on exactly what happened this past weekend:

For the time between 19:00 GMT on 9/4 and 21:30 GMT on 9/5 we have:

• Refunded any Platinum used to open a Locked Grand Crates.
• Returned all Grand Crates that were opened.
• Returned all Elite Golden Dragonscale crates that were opened.

If you opened any locked crates before or after that time window, you will not have received a refund of crates, chests or platinum. If you still believe that you should have received a refund and did not, please visit our support page at support.spacetimestudios.com and click on "Contact Us" to submit a ticket and we will be happy to look into it for you. This thread is being closed. :)
