Define merchant?

I'm not sure but what kind of people is called merchant?
Those who buy and hoard to wait for the price to go up?
Or those who keep shouting in paradise pier for cheaper items and sell immediately?
Or those who make use of an items's price fluctuation, buy low and set a higher price in cs and wait?
Or all:p?

I think everyone merched something.

Personally hoarding is one of the best merching that everyone can do

IMO hoarding eggs ( without slag , abbandon ) , vanities , gear it's not the real BOOM

Buying an item as cheap as possible using the power of persuasion and identifying desperation in the seller if there in a rush.

Then persuading others to buy your item for more then you bought but still cheaper then auction...

Overall it's a win win scenario :)
