Is there any point to INT Bird?

I partied with a guy who was a full INT bird the other day, and I was wondering if he knew something I didn't. I went 1-50 without ever seeing this, and I can't imagine this guy was annything but bored when he decided to do this, but I wanted to make sure.

No spells, low damage, is there any reason at all other than boredom that someone would go full INT bird?

It's the worst hybrid in the game now I'm pretty sure. You trade a lot damage for mage weapon procs and mana/regen basically. At 50 with the sunblessed bow for Dex it's not even a proc upgrade anymore.
