I suggest that a player's Achievement Points be made visible to others on his profile, like kdr, stats, etc. Why? Because it will help guilds recruit better and also it will drive players to play more, acquire all those APs. It will encourage a guild and players, in general, to be more active.

I don't really see the point.

If you require a certain number of APs, just ask them to show you a Paragon title (that seems to be the minimum requirement for many top guilds).

Better yet, instead of firing off invites to anyone that says "Need Guild", take them for a run, go to TDM, test out their skills, check out their attitude, see if they are a good fit instead of assuming AP points = pro player, because I can tell you from experience, not everyone that has completed every elite AP is even remotely capable of running elites. Just like not everyone with a nice KDR in TDM/CTF are skilled, since some of those lopsided numbers come from dummy farming.

Some guilds require more than 10k..lol

I don't see why you wouldn't do this though, it seems pretty cool.

I agree with all the 3 of you, the aps visibility would help a lot when recruiting...but some guilds could also want to recruit players with only 12k+aps(for example), however map runs and interviews are just as important(or even more) than aps

Anyways, it would be useful

I woudnt want my achievement points showing but I think a idea would be to have the choice of them showing or not

The only guilds that require acheivement points are guilds that desire to be on the leaderboard. I agree with GoodSyntax. Acheivement points are not what makes a good player. Experience and knowledge defines a player's skill. Not silly numbers.

Recruiting by stats and actual killing experience is a far better screen than having an ap requirement.

10k ap can be reached so easily that it's not even helpful as a measure at this point. As it stands now, there is no title to show for anything over 10k, so unless you make people provide screenshots (totally unrealistic) you can't use anything higher as a guild entry requirement.

Not really any benefit to showing them or making a higher ap title in any case, since as Kali said, it's easy to get ap without having a clue how to actually play.

I am in favour of this.

As for recruiting by stats - anyone can get e.g. 50k pve kills in probably a month or two without ever setting foot in an elite map. Same goes for pvp stats. There are twinks, who decide to level up, there are farmers, gangers etc.

Make more AP titles or even better - make a separate stats screen for our toons, showing more advanced stats. E.g. number of completed elite runs, times, elites kdr and various stuff like that. You could make it so that every player would have the option whether to show this stats screen to the public or not. I myself am a stats maniac and would love to see something like this implemented in this game.

Thanks.
