Ive only got one Warbird and I'm trying to improve it. I'm not so sure on what attributes to raise up to be a strong pvp player. Also what to wear. So far I'm wearing rift set.

for pvp warbird... try out for most dex. dual wield works best i guess, just need all the booster items for str
if you dont have enough +7 and +8 pinks tho, maybe 158-160ish in str rest dex

Warbirds are not the best PvP option but I enjoy playing them a lot. For attributes you want te minimum Str you can manage while still equipping the best Str gear your level. You can use build up items similar to a dual build for this or just build Str to the lowest requirement for the gear you plan to use (the first is more complicated and requires some low level pinks, the latter is simpler but obviously results in you having more Str. Then max Dex as much as you can. The more Dex you have, the more damage you will deal with your weapon and skills.
