Max DPS possible with a bow?

So, what is it? I've currently got 272 with all items under 5000 total...


I don't care about crit.. even if it's 1 crit and 300 dps, vs 20 crit and 299 dps, I'm going with the 300 for now. I just want to see how high I can get it.

Wouldn't the sunblessed set + max dex give top DPS? 256 if I'm not mistaken?

I think the daggers give the highest DPS as a weapon though, but with that base attack I don't think you'd be doing any damage.

I think what he's trying to do is mix and match equips/respec attributes to find out the most amount of DPS it is possible to achieve with a bow (unsure of what type of character, though)...

And at level 50, what's the max DPS with a bow. No daggers, talons, etc. 2 handed ranged weapons.

And so far, I can get 272 DPS, with items that total under 5k gold. Problem is, if you go in VL with them, people take one look, go "noob", and kick you. :/

Oh. Yeah I did try once to get as much DPS as possible with bird, and yeah fortune was the way to go. Armors add pure damage I believe? But thats just it too, I think its only good in damage. Does true-shot have more dps than a sunblessed?

Trueshot has much more DPS... armor adds around 4 damage and helm 3 I believe.

No armor though, like 58...


EDIT: forgot one other thing.. you look horrible.. so ugly.

The fortune equips do give more DPS than the Sunblessed set (242 DPS calculated - the 256 is a mistake).

I think I had 248 dps on my bird. 50 str, 11 int, rest on dex

The max damage and/or DPS that can be achieved by any given equipment is always when it's worn by a bear, as Rage adds 50 damage when you use the buff. (which is a huge amount.)

I am lvl 49. I get 256dps with tru shot. My armor is 56. I have tried diff combos to get good stats and armor. I am kind of stuck with this till 50 and hopefully enough gold to get a good set.
