How did you get your mythic gear set and how long did it take?

Hello guys, Arte here and today i was wanting to know everybodies opinion on how to get and how you got your mythic gear set! I myself have not yet gotten a mythic gear set because 1. i don't have enough gold, and 2. because i'd figure it would take a very long time. Time that i don't really have!

Took me winning a few competitions and winning two mythic rings when they were 7m ;). As for the quest, like 5min to do the armor, 15min for helm. Curse you fragments!

Helm: got from my first opened lock ever. About 5 hours constantly running.
Armor: got from a friend. 20 minutes upgrading.

I got my first Mythic armor before tarlok's event started,Then I was saving gold to get my helm, so during the event I got enough gold to purchase the helm :D .

About Upgrade it... I didnt know about those 100k for the essence, I had not enough to purchase, so took me a whole day haha.

Got it from my 1 time opening locks. Took me 1 hour to upgrade.

I got myth armor 3-4 months after joining AL. Then after a month a very kind friend of mine lend me 700k to buy helm. Upgraded em in 3 hours. Paid him the 500k in a month and he said forget the due 200k. Myths were costlier that time.
Then bought myths for other classes in some months :)

I got a mythic warrior helm in an elite pirate chest and traded it for a rogue one early in season 3. That was the only good item I ever found in a chest.

Getting the armor took a full season of farming and saving, and I got it near the end of season 4. It was about 8 mil at that point. Sold my full gear set, along with my ring for 18 mill, to get a glacian for Arcane AP (cost 22.5m at that time), then started again.

Funny enough the great mythic price crash happened 2 weeks later. Mythic sets plummeted and the price of glacian eggs dropped by 10m. Should have waited to buy, but there was no predicting it.

Almost got it twice before (36 mythic weapon weekend and tarlok event) but ended up buying both Mage arlor vanities with the event profits.

Then during the 2 day black and white jester event I made enough gold selling vanities that I got the mythic armor set and blood ruby.

Recently tho not having the original mythic set that's not upgraded was bothering me. So as a collector I traded a slag egg for another set lol.

It took me about 4 months after i joined AL before i got my first mythic set....that i kept.

At the time the set for warrior was 6 million.

99% of that 6 millon came from merching, and lets just say i didnt go completely broke buying the set either.

At that moment in time over a year ago, i had never opened a single locked.

3 months or so after Shuyal expansion

I bought mythic war helm for 1.5m and resold it a week later for 2m so I could afford the 3m mythic war armor. Good friend gave me a mythic helm and let me pay him back over time.

Less than 15 min for armor, I believe. Nearly 4 hours of running for the helm.

I never aimed for one XD. I wanted valkin, but i figured ill need a myth armor to stand up against inan. So i did free plat offers, i got one offer that gives 74plats (not sure if its the exact amount) then did the rest for a few dats and got 148 plats. Then i ran km3 7 hours a day with luck elix and got my set after a week.

Honestly, don't bother with them now as they're about to be expired! First helm was a few million and took me many months of elite farming. Then armor took me another few months. Time is money. If you have no gold then time is your friend! Set goals and stick to it!

I got my mythic helm + armor for 2.2mil, upgrade too me a few hrs. Love the helm

upgrade 10hours mayb? the farming part., the bossing part juz call some good guildmates ( my guild mates are very very kind indeed in helping me kill inanhesh) juz do 1hr farm for awhile then rest awhile.. it wont be long till u get 16 pieces patience is the key. ;) good luck on urs

slowly making money to buy mythics for my mage , juz play casually and dun hope for instant fast cash.

I got the armor and sold it. Later I bought the set when priced dropped, took me about 20mins to upgrade it to lvl 36.

Yep. A smurfey in the "hermit" gives you a quest tp upgrade them. If you don't know the place add Tankermatic. Good luck :).
