View Full Version : Clock is going crazy

So right after today's update, I wanted to run WT4 just to up my pve kills, I ran with Clock, Fire, Ice, Shield. Same as always.
So I was soloing, and I grab a mobs aggro, and throw down a clock to contain them, well they just walked straight through it like it was not even there. I tried it about 12 more times, and some even stranger stuff happened, clock started acting like rogues traps and pulled the baddies that where in the radius of the clock effect, into the clock, but still did not root them. Is anyone else having this?

Seems like wt4 lag is back?

I've moved this to the bugs sub-forum. If anyone else is experiencing this please be sure to be detailed! :)

What upgrades are on your clock?
What other skills are you using?
What pet were you using?

If you didn't re-specialize your skill points and removed the root upgrade from clock accidentally.. Well, there are mobs that are not root-able (the silver armored skeletons). About being pulled like rogue trap net pull, maybe you were using Frosteye as pet?

IHATE is right, my clock stays the same i didnt respec in 4 months but now almost all mobs walk free in clock radios, doesnt root or snare

Nothing to do with skills pets or upgrade its just a clock bug, noticed it very painfully running elite jagged with 3 rogues and myself

Weird, I did several elite runs today as mage and did not notice anything similar. Neither on my time shift's clock nor any other mage's. Sometimes the clock is delayed due to lag and doesn't register as charged skill even though you did charge it because it happened that the moment you released it, your ping was on a spike. So that would explain why they fail to root (since you need charge for that upgrade to be set off).

And yeah, you guessed it, this mainly happens on large pulls when the screen is filled with a ton of mobs. No better suspect for such a map than WT4. ;)

Confirming that clock isn't rooting correctly. I am spec 4/5 in clock (no time bomb) so mine should root.

WT4: No root at all
Regular Tind: Root seemed to work
Elite Tind: Root did not work

Will post more as I see, but seems like there is a bug going on here w/ the mage clock. It's our most valuable skill in elites!

Confirmed that the charged clock roots normally, the silver armored skeletons are just not stunnable. >_>

You got banana butt when you drop clock?

You got banana butt when you drop clock?
My butt remained intact. Very few mobs are unaffected by root. Shouldn't be an issue unless lag is severe.

I will play around w/ it again tonight.

I was running wt4 and kraken isles maps,

i can say that in kraken maps, my time shift (5/5) makes all enemies (except boss) stuck

but in wt4 (and other high enemy amount maps), some enemies get stuck, while the majority walk through my time shift...

yes if you fight 100 mobs its not like all 100 will be rooted in the clock, even fireball strucks like 6-12 on an avg / max / min lols

theres a limit for enemies to be rooted , i ve been experiences this problem and it appears to be only like 12 enemies get stuck and the rest of the crowd goes on
