Fix Scorch campaign 2014

I would like some feedback from other scorch owners.....

While in watchers tomb 4 the shield breaks in less then 1 second so im not seeing the point of it.
Personally for my tank....its lacking, ALOT

Yea it's pretty bad...the shield does pretty much nothing nowadays. And yea for tanks, the stats are some crap

I bought him on the premise of the "Shield" but didn't know, contrary to every other shield in the game, Scorch's shield can't even stand a single hit in any elite map. If STS would have said, prior to release, his shield would absorb about 5 DMG at lv1 and 1,200 DMG at lv41, I definitely wouldn't have purchased him!

Scorch's happiness bonus is honestly pretty weak for a Legendary pet, let alone a Mythic one that I paid 250 plat for. Gyrm is superior in every way, as are a plethora of other Legendary pets. I had assumed that if I brought Scorch to lv40, he would have improved significantly, but, alas, this is not the case. He is just as underwhelming as a lv41 as he was at lv1.

I also have one. It's been said by Rem that at lvl 36 he would absorb 1550 damage, aprox. But it's pretty useless for tanking, as damage not only gets through but it doesn't even last a single hit in elites.

I totally agree to a buff as I really only use him cause I like the crit and the fact that he's cool. But him with or without the current AA makes little difference.. And thats totally missing the point of it being Mythic.

There has been countless thread to improve Scorch and i just hope STS can understand how frustrating a Scorch owner is. Honestly i think any legendary pet AA is better than Scorch despite that its a mythic...

But on the subject, I agree that Scorch needs a fix. Not worth the Mythic rarity or 250 plats, dova can do better.

Well, ripmaw is also pretty useless as far as pets go from a sorcerer's perspective. Although ripmaw was the first mythic pet and scorch is one of the last, so you would expect him to be better. The trick is making it so he is useful for pve, but not overpowered in pvp. Rogues running around with the 10% crit boost and a shield the equivalent of a mages shield would be pretty op in pvp. So would a mage with a shield pretty much active 100% of the time, if the mage's shield skill and scorch's arcane ability were alternated properly. Perhaps buffing for pve, making it more similar to a mages shield, and keeping it as is for pvp?

Edit: even just adding a 2 second invulnerability to the shield in pve would be a huge improvement.

I only use scorch for the crit other than that he is a "waste of plat". I even put that name in him.
If sts will give us the chance to refund this useless pet, I will not have a second thought....

Scorch is not only the newest mythic pet, but there have been 3 arcane pets released since he was introduced, and nothing else has come in the mythic rarity range. Considering this has been the only mythic pet available for almost a year, I think the people who have wasted their plat in hopes of something decent should be obliged with having this brought up to the value paid for it.

These people are the ones who pay the developers' rent, and making so many this unhappy for so long without providing even any mention of a fix, is not only totally wrong, it's losing STS customer confidence. The new arcane pets have all been buffed already. Just because the mythic players spent $30 instead of $600 (estimated values) doesn't mean we don't deserve quality for our purchases.

I think the only reason I would get scorch is because I played Pokémon when it first came out and somewhere the gotta catch em all always comes back and he's the only mythic I don't have. That being said I would never waste plat on him and I'd be pretty upset if I had to pay any more than I did for ripmaw. He is terrible and like so many other people have said he is the newest myth pet and his stats/aa should reflect as much.

When it comes to mythic pets, everybody loves the older Slag or Grimm, why does nobody want the newest mythic pet Scorch like they want the older ones? Isnt something odd going on here?

As others have mentioned already, Scorch is the newest mythic pet and it should be better or atleast at par with the current best legendary pet.

This is one pet on which my plats felt like a total waste besides other pets that do not give the promised dmg boost in ctf for rogues due to a flawed buff-debuff system which has been on the backburner for just too long.

I rather use legendary Dova than Scorch. And Scorch is Mythic, so how is that fair or sane? Apart from the fact that the AA shield is so weak and gets 1-shotted, Scorch's happiness bonus makes rogues and mages extremely squishy as it lacks health bonus. Please add HP to the happiness bonus and 2 secs invulnerability to the AA shield.

I agree with everyone. I highly regret purchasing Scorch. We spent real money to support this game on the expectation that we would be receiving a mythic calibur pet that would actually see gameplay. My scorch is max lvl but only because I had hoped he'd be more effective at cap. Obviously he wasn't and I haven't used him since, preferring epic pets like ethyl over him. STS has seen and read numerous thread complaining of scorch for the entire season. He isn't even acknowledge as an issue to fix. I doubt STS gives a damn, if they had they wouldve at least made some comment. They would rather new players to continue to spend plat on him.

I'll be honest and say that I didn't regret this pet at first, but once the shiny and new mythic pet smell wore off I was sorely disappointed -- and now that Singe has been buffed this pet is just a bit of a joke.

If it isn't a red pet I guess there's no sense in fixing it, this is Arcane Legends, not Mythic Legends. zzz

Please sts give us a fix on scorch in aa or in hapiness bonus. We purchase this pet that is in 'mythic' rarity. What we expect is a great pet better than the legendary ones, better than the old ones. What did we get? A useless, waste of plat and vanity PET! Its been almost a year since its release. Did we get any buff??? Did you even read our complains? Did you even care on the money we spent on this pet? Come on STS, if you want us to have our trust again, make scorch worth it.

'Fun' Fact: scorch is my first purchase from plats. My first time in AL to use my real money to buy plats. After experiencing the uselessness of scorch, I regret using my money. I would never buy plats again.

Scorch was a huge let down :/ I think there should be a Mythic Pet conversion system if there is no buff with AA and stats. That way I can change this useless Scorch for a Slag or Abaddon.
