Never tested, I would, but I haven't been on all weekend and don't plan on hopping on and wasting time to test.

Is there an AOE focus damage? Like when using a keeper staff, or another aoe staff, is the enemy that you have targeted gonna receive more damage than the other enemies? If so, does this work with blast shot? To me, splash seems like it'd have a main focus damage, since it "splashes" damage onto other enemies.

Thanks:)

No is my answer, the bad guy you hit with a keeper staff all gets the same damage given that the bad guys are all together when you strike one of them.

Blast Shot does the same average damage when all enemies are hit. From a majority of the evidence presented, the game doesn't register AoE damages as splashed.

Blast Shot is an AMAZING skill. It does more damage to the "Focus Target" then the targets around it.

For Keeper Staff of Cosmos, Flaming Fireblaster and Candycane Staff, the "Focus Target" takes same damage as targets around it.

Some of the "splash damage" or "focus damage" will miss so it won't be taken into consideration when answering your question.

Proof? I'm intrigued how you get your information. First I read your going to post a thread on how to get better drops, now this. I'm curious what your doing different.

Do you need a video as proof or you just want me to explain with words?

Words are enough, I'm just curious.

for the Keeper staff its very easy to prove.... just run past a few bad guys and not attack then auto attack with the bunch of them following you and when one dies, they all die.

for blast shot I dont know. Im courious also actually.

One question first.

Have you heard of Echo Slam from Earthshaker as one of the heroes in DOTA ( Defense of the ancient king )

Yeah, loved him actually. I understand with him since it actually says so in the skill description. An initial AoE damage around him when he uses echo right? So I'm assuming same thing with blast shot?

It's better to explain to you if you understand Earthshaker's Echo Slam. Trust me try it yourself.

You can try. If you click on a single zombie and lure towards a chest without attacking. After that, you use Blast Shot when zombie is near to chest. It's obvious. You will see two red numbers as damage. Sometimes, you won't see cause it's ONE HIT KO. Too much damage.

No, I do understand Echo slam. Unless they changed it ever since I used him, almost or over a year ago now actually.

But alright, I'll keep that in mind, thanks!

Blast Shot is the same average damage among the enemies being hit. There's no splash damage; all the enemies surrounding the core enemy you hit get hit with the same average damage. I just tested this out, and sometimes in fact the enemies surrounding the core enemy get critically hit for ~66% damage loss compared to the core enemy, which only gets 33% damage loss.
