Oh yes. It's an issue that has been discussed in forums recently actually. It's not the word "assault" but the first syllable "ETC".

Over-censorship is taken to an extreme when one can not even mention certain types of gear.

You're not going to change the names of all the assault weapons and armor, so just take the word that's not even a curse off the mute list please, STS.

Edit: You shouldn't be getting mutes from that word going forward. It will still be ***'d out in your chat if your have your game client's filter on.
