How many gems would I usually burn through until I get a Super Gem? Also, I heard that gems have a better chance of becoming super the lower the level of the equipment. Is that true? I plan to make my lvl 41 Dragon Scale armors perfect since I won't be buying any Mythic Armors.

Least amount of tries ive had is 1. Most amount ive had is 20. Its all just luck. I even got two supers in one day on the same item so it varies a lot

It's about luck.
You can get 1 grand from the first try or it can last more. I' ve seen that most people say largest it tooked to them was 20 tries so chances may be 5%. Excyse my english :3

I'm not sure, it's what people says.
When crafting first came out, i got 4 grand gems in a row, and out of my first 10, i had 6 grand gems. I've only really upgraded ~20 times my entire life though (not really a upgrade-addict)
And does anyone remember how the drop rate for everything (notably the archon rings) were really really high right when crafting was released? c:

ah kk! i'm just worried about my income because Gems are a big part of my income apart from farming eggs and chests. thanks for the information guys! :D time to upgrade dem armors!

It's totally random and yes I would gem on your lower level alts.
Sometimes it's more than 20 gems to get a super.

I upgrade a lot of things every day. I'm pretty confident to say that the odds are 1:20, more or less :)

You gem for me? I must have horrible luck mine seem to go between 20-30 tries on each one.

FYI I've put more than 40 gems into my bulwark since my first grand gem and nothing.
Why waste my time you ask? I do not have an answer to that question.

When i aggressively gem in multiple slots usually I gem items twice a day. Although I don't so it often I actually have some ok luck with the whole amount of items super gem here super gem there. But if you gem 1 at a time its like horrific lol.
In all honesty, its really seems related to items. A specific item, not a type. I dunno. I super gemmed two elondrian rifles within a week. A third one I gemmed for about a month and not a single grand gem.
I decided at the beginning of Dragon Enclave to put my warrior in Mythic gear. I upgraded a ring, armor, and helm to perfect blood in about 3 weeks. My sorcerer helm still has one slot with a normal gem after 2 seasons.
