Questions : Are the Lock farming still the best way to get money?

Depends on what you are trying to do. Lockeds are at an all time low 3.5-4k. If you want pot money or pet feed then sure. If you are trying to build your gold then no. You'd need roughly 260 lockeds to make one mil. That's a lot of farming.

You could always plant potatoes, sell them at the farmers market and use that money to buy plat. :)
I hope STS introduces the same locked system as Ursoths because right now their really cheap and also quite an efficient method of earning money (Combination)

You just need to spam locked, sell looted items, buy locked, repeat

Actually I think that they never been best way to make gold for an end-game player
As all non plat players, I started with locks too but I was very lucky because they were 8k by then. For an end-game player best way to make gold is to farm elite tindrin maps,merch consumables from events and other mythics (very hard to do with un-popular legendaries) and for plat users is to open locks or buy limited edition stuff and sell it for gold.
My opinion is that is not a decent way to make gold anymore

dont forget the 2-3 locks you need just to make up your luck elixir cost. often you wont even get that many in 30 mins, driving u into a loss

Yesterday I was damn bored and i farmed with a friend Wrathjaw's Egg and Snaggletooth's Egg for one hour.
I got 2 Wrath's Egg and 2 Snagg's Egg. Pretty decent
