What do all these stats mean?

Sorry if this question has already been asked or answered some where on this forum already. When equipping weapons, what do all those stats really mean? I just look for high dmg and armor, but what about CRIT, HIT, H/S, etc mean? Can someone please break all this down for me.

Crit = chance your attack would crit.

Hit % = % your attacks would actually hit (also dependent on dodge of target)

Dodge = Chance for you to dodge attacks.

H/S = Health regen per second

M/S = Mana regen per second

DPS = damage per second

Crit is critical hit chance, chance to hit harder.
Hit is chance of hitting
H/s is how fast your health regenerates (per second)
M/s is how fast your mana regenerates (per second)
Dodge is your chance to evade an attack
DPS is how fast you hit

Lol Elly, it's a novel! A critical hit is just a particularly hard hit. Not always a one-hit kill, but can result in one due to the damage it deals

How do you know which weapon or which stat breaks through armor?

I'm guessing you mean debuffs? Not stats or weapons. Debuffs like break armor on an archer, nightmare on an enchantress, and crush on a bear all make the thing you are trying to kill more vulnerable.

Some weapons have debuffing procs like nightmare (darkblades and dark staffs) or break armor (spears and similar weapons). In general the only way to know is to test it or look for info on the forums.

Simple terms, Critical = double hit. A critical hit will at least, double your attack. I have seen cases where the critical dealt almost 3x the original damage. These are the orange hits that are very high in damage. Higher Critical = more chance at a orange hit.
