He had to do so because the forum community judged him so harshly that even when he tried to redeem himself... it wouldn't matter due to the opinions and mindset the forum's already has on him. Because cake's Identity wasn't permanently tarnished. It just started off as a bad impression. However lightninglord67 on the other hand already had plenty of hate going for him. If you are wondering why I am defending him btw, Irl as well as forums I always defend the underdog when a group of people bash on him/her. I'd even defend the person I hated. Thats just who I am. I just don't see the point or how one can feel good about trashing on someone else.
