Hey i just created an avian and i love the class. I have a lvl 50 bear and mage but i have already grown to admire the archer. The only problem is that he is only lvl 27 and 1.7 is coming soon. Ive been having troubles finding pwrlvl rooms because of booting and i was hoping to find someone on the forums willing to help.

It's hard to find a good AO3 game that isn't just a bunch of level 50s farming or doing the cyber quest and booting everyone else. AO3 is kind of a wasteland that way.

I don't understand why they didn't make Victory Lap a a mini-dungeon (like Boss Brawl) and put the cyber quest there (similar to the pelt/snowball quests, which IIRC give you shivering ice gear). That would have kept AO3 clean (more or less) for people actually leveling up. Can we please, please, please revisit this? If not, I don't think I'm going to bother making any more characters after the current archer—it's just way too frustrating for what's supposed to be a casual game.

People shouldn't be going in any map other than VL for cyber anyway since it's so much quicker. You still have Crush the Keeper and people do still use it to level all the time.

Well, the shadow prisoner part (last two quests) isn't currently practical in VL.

True but trying to XP off aliens will be a waste. Crush the Keeper is the best place to go

EDIT: I kept rereading and finally got a broken assumption of the meaning... "Yea lol, but mynas generation do that, and once a mynas generation, always a mynas generation; you cant change them their airheads forever." rough estimate :D i feel so proud lol

It depends on your goal. If you're trying to get XP as fast as possible, sure, CtK is probably the fastest way. But I get bored with it. So I pop into Captive Audience for a change of setting, and get booted—by some of the same people I (used to?) play with on my level 50 chars—just because the char is only a mere level 48. It's lame.

Not everyone boots level 48s from Captive, but I have to say, it's faster w/ all 50s, so if someone has a group of 50s going, he's unlikely to take a level 48. Plus shadows are only for level 50s, though I suppose the Sizoo quest is not.

...and that is exactly why they should have put the cyber quest in a mini-dungeon. But maybe I just feel like killing some shadows, or am doing the other quest. It's not always about getting to the top as fast as possible.
