They put them because some rich guy wants to buy locks. He opens market and searchs for locked grand crates. The market should show the least expensive ones but it shows the most expensive ones, and prolly the buyer is multitasking or in a hurry, so he buys the 7m one. Its only luck based, but if someone does by them, then thats a profit lol, however I would consider that cheating and StS should do something to keep the market the way you want to use it

Aside from the lucky chance that some rich guy accidentally clicks on it, it used to be one of the things plat farmers do. They believe that using the trade system to transfer gold from their dummy account to their main would get them banned, so they list things on high price using their main and their dummies would buy the overpriced item.

It's already free for them so why should they incur any loss, but yes they get some 100K's of gold less...

MEEHH..... I did this during the newbie days of mine. hey I got a strange looking crate (that time lockeds really looked crates) and its in legendary RARITY!! so I listed for 1m and someone bought it after a day and done instant 1m for me. An easy process to have millions that is based on the BLURRY EYES of people.

PS: I mighty Try it today because im broke

Someone told me a loooonnng time ago, that people do that when they're famous, so a fan or a follower buys just to have a "locked that *insert name here* had to show off to friends -_-
