How do any of you guys get less than 100 ping?
I cant even get my ping to be green yet, how do you do it? Im not using dial up or anything crap.

Even playing under the router gives me about 312 ping.

Where are you playing from? The closer you are to the server (which is in Texas, USA), the lower your ping.

I'm in Sydney, 300-500 is already the best I can get.

Yup, so definitely 300 is good. I can play well with 300, just lately idk why I've been spiking up to 10k or so and back to 300, then up again.

I'm in Europe and my lowest ping is 200. My normal ping is around 300-350. Sometimes my ping grows up to 30k and returns to 300

The servers are in NC so it makes sense you have low ping ;)

i love having it in the 60s or 80s, when my router is properly fed and happy.
otherwise, 100-200 norm.

How is it that the distance of 200 ping players vs lets say my distance 300-500 ping, is huge? :O

Even if you were in the furthest part of the US from the server, I'm still significantly further than that yet only 100-200 ping increase. Just curious, I'm never good with Internet speed bandwidth ping stuff lol

cables across seas are direct lines where cables in usa is a bunch of spiderwebs hooking up to each other and even passing through each other. Basically its connect your spiderweb to our spiderweb with one cable instead of the thousands in the country. Also, satellites are cool and help out even more.

I'm in Florida and I'm usually around 80, sometimes in the 60's. I spike in the 200's. I'm on a wifi connection too, BTW.

I get 20-200 ping I live in Massachusetts I don't think location has anything to do with it I think it has to do with your connection I have verizon wich is the fastest Internet in the country but if you live out of this country like in Austraila then it might have something to do with it

Really? Because I have Verizon now, and it flat out stinks compared to my old Comcast internet...

Meh my ping is pretty good on my wifi (between 100-200) but gets horrible once my kids are playing the xbox and wifey is watching Netflix. I need my own PL dedicated connection!

I think ISP's vary throughout the country. Just because Verizon is great in your area, doesn't mean it's great everywhere. I'm pretty sure Verizon is DSL, so it depends on how close to the hub you are, right? I've heard comcast was great though. I'm on Bright house/Roadrunner.

Verizon has the fastest internet in the country and it's FiOS. Basically fiber to your house...I had this in Seattle and it is stupid fast. I had the "medium" package and it was 25 Mbps down and 25 Mbps up.

This however was 5 years ago and I have since moved to a less privileged broadband area. I'm not sure what Verizon offers outside of FiOS these days...

Im in NYC and my ping USED to be good. I play from my Mytough 4G Tmobile phone and I used to get ping of like 80-200 and it was good, Now Im getting like 3k and spikes up to 15k anything more than that and I sign out and back in. And I swear its not me but everytime I switch towns, some towns give me higher ping. Lost expeditions and The Crocs.
