So from what I can remember (since I arrived during Ao2), it took 3 months for Ao3 (50) to be released. Now, given about a week more til 1.7 (55), thats another 3 months.

Also reading posts that the game was originally mapped out to be up to a cap of 100, thats 45 levels more to go.

Thats 9 more expansions, assuming its per 5 levels. Also assuming that each would take about 3 months, thats 27 months, give or take a month or so, so 2 years.

So it will take about 2 years for PL to truly reach end game? Thoughts? :P

No way is the final cap 60. I have asked devs and they said its nowhere near the lv cap and even when the lv cal is finally at max they will always be adding content such as new dungeons etc. So pl will continue to grow for ages past 2 years probably.

I think a level cap at 70-80 would be good then they can expand everything New skills more quests for each campaign etc would be really good pets mail box u no all the accessories so your not just killing stuff
Crafting if it turns out awesome is a good example of something to do

Agree. I hope its a rehaul though. Rather than just doubling max skill level from 5 to 10. Lol

WOW caps at 80, FFXI last I checked was 75, so I imagine it will hold there for a bit when we get there. I'm fine with a huge update every 3 months, it gives me time to fully explore the new areas and quests.

I suspect the final cap will keep going up as long as the game makes money and returns go up with every release. If the cashflow starts going down with a release is where we can expect to not see further level cap increase as more ressources are pulled from PL to work on different more lucrative ventures...
