It's kinda annoying having them not work, when in other games they do.

Well (for clarification purposes) what Sam said is more of an analogy to explain that it takes a while to build something great. :) In regards to the question at hand, what sort of emojis obee? Perhaps the ones like on iOS devices? Or are there other specific ones you would like to see? I can send a note to the devs about this. :)

However, if there are others you would like to use, you can upload them as images.

Never said that. But if we couldn't do it today, then the Romans would have had a much more difficult time when given only a day.
