Pally build needed

Okay, i know i got 2 chars already but im planning to delete my archer cuz i dont like to be archer. And the new one im going to make is a pally. And as title says i need a pally build. :o
1. What should i take my skill points in? I were thinking 170 str (So i can wear rift/hate) and the rest in int... what do u think ?:confused:
2. What should i take my ability points in? (Pally is normally enchantress class right?):confused:
3. How shall i dress me? With rift or hate? Or lower lvl gear? (Depends on my skill points):confused:

Plz answer quickly :D

1. 158 strength is enough to wear rift／hate. More is ok though, it's up to you.
2. Pally is ALWAYS enchantress class

You want to get as much int as you can. Since a pally is technically not a tank (since you cant control aggro well), your practically a mage in str armour.

With that, I suggest going 120ish strength and boost it up to equip rift (like a dual spec build, see my guide). Then all the points into int.

Skills should just be the same as if you were any kind of Mage.

One hand seems best with a pally, since like i said, your a mage with str armours. Going 2handed is only good vs bosses when you have a tank or another pally with you.

I like rift better. I'm not sure what the price difference is anymore now though.

I agree with Elly, go min Str, max Int. Rift set is the best, but hate armor/helm/shield with the luminous harpoon is also a very good pally setup. Skills at 50 like this:
5, 5, 5, 1
5, 2, 5, 5
5, 1, 5, 5
Or something similar (actually for a pally I'd probably max icestorm and only have a couple in frost since you're often in the middle of the action).

ok i try rift... sounds like its the best :D I dont wanna do cyber quest anyway... (only do that quests on my main) so dont write that cyber is the best any1 later plz...

Kaotic do let us know how u r going. I too am building a pally. Already have Mage main and love the class. Tried bear but stomping bears have annoyed me enough to put me off the class (I know there are many very well played bears out there btw) I have pushed lots into strength first for survivability. This way I was able to be one of those annoying lowbies running AO1/2 from early on for xp and manage to hold my own and not die lots. I am now getting into the 30s tho and wondered what best int/strength split was as I am spending a small fortune on mana pots  So I guess now I can pump a few more points into int (I only have 20 thus far).

Always nice to hear others views tho. Cu in game - I'll be the one who can't heal cos I'm out of mana lol

Well .. i deleted my Pally... i didnt see myself as a really good helping hand on the team... srry but i ended up by making a Pure int Mage ... i see myself helping a lot more as pure int.. with healing lvl 6 in lvl 12 that really helps out the team..

I would think so. Just make sure you own "in between gear" that boost STR so you can equip hate or whatever gear you need to equip. I have a few pinks I keep around just to be able to slip into my hate set. lol

Ya .. u need of course at least 7 str or 7 int boost with 128.. see Ellyidol's dual spec guide...
