Yeah, that's really weird. It's definitely normal b/c you have a lv34 with you. Maybe it's like bael/krunch 2 and considered "elite"

No idea, but from what I know the boss in normal doesn't drop AR, only in elite ;)

In non-elite when these boss show they dont drop any rings but in elite they drop archon.

this dragon is a mini boss with equivalent hp like the other scaled dragons, i also encountered this mini , tons of times when i farm elites in rendtail's zone with karma
