Help! I can't view certain threads!

I know I'm chatbox banned, but why can't I view this? Do I HAVE to make a thread just to show what I mean? What if it was something important and I can't see it? That's part of my ban?

My PM's concerning this were igged twice. I understand them not wanting to open pm's even remotely discussing bans but I just don't understand why I can't view simple news articles and such.

I can't even view the vBCms Comments forum topics. For some reason, articles show up in the what's new list, but you can only access them from where they are posted (they aren't threads).

Is that the one I commented on? I was able to eventually get to it because G had just posted it and I finally went to his profile after trying ten trillion different things. It turns out he was viewing it and I just clicked on the link :)
